    What scares me is the Rockets will have to play a back to back game with the Pacers already in H-town relaxing at the Men's Club right about now.

    god. we NEED a big pf that can absort some fouls to protect yao. whenever a player attack the paint, where are our pfs?

    3 horrible calls on Yao. Smothering defense by Grizz. Bad shooting night. Equals a loss.

    As uplifting as each win of the recent streak was, this loss just takes the winds out of the sails because it's to a team that is a direct contender for the last 2 playoff spots.

    I'm down on how easy the Grizzlies were able to deny Yao the ball in the low post. Then Steve Kerr says that most coaches want speed at the big man position. I don't know what the hell the Rockets can do to effectively utilize Yao. Everyone has the book on how to defend Yao.

    Only in your wild dream. They will call 3 quick ones on him to take him out of the comfort zone, and he won't get the ball anyway since he is such a nice guy.

    Memphis has too much talent. They don't have anchors and albatrosses on their payrolls like the Rockets. I hope Stromile Swift leaves that team. He is a pain in the Rockets' asses. Maybe he'll get a contract from the Hawks.

    to be fair, tonight the refs are fine.

    it's just that yao should know when NOT to contend shots.

    We all expect a lot from Yao, but I think he played a fair game tonight. The 5th foul was bad on Yao's part and the 6th makes no difference to the game. If he plays like tonight day in and day out - saving a couple of fouls, the team will be alright

    that's what I'm talking about!

    if it was me, I'd give a career ending foul everytime down the court


    not only would the other player respect you, it'd be the last time you'd have to see him again

    Is it a good idea to play mutombo along with yao for 10-15 mins per game??? At least mutombo can cover yao on the defensive ends whereas on offensive end yao can at least made up points by howard/taylor.....
