He has 25 and 11 on 50% shooting. Bad defense, but no worse than anybody else tonight.

Don't tell me he's the problem. He's not. To think he is is simply moronic.

Harden is the one who said his teammates are just role players (except Dwight); so if the Rockets are losing, he should get most of blame.

Honestly. . . that is on McHale.
You DO NOT allow an 18 pt run without a timeout or something

Except most of us here knew the Rockets were better than a 6th seed. Expectations change too.

I was never a big fan, but I defended him during the regular season for what he managed to accomplish given all the injuries. But that's the regular season. If we judge players by how they perform in the playoffs, the same should apply to coaches. And this is the 2nd straight season that McHale has looked completely lost. Last year it took him 2 losses at home before he decided to make any adjustment on Aldridge. And this season, our defense has been non-existent. We've actually regressed in that area vs a year ago.

The problem is the premature 3-year extension and the first round victory(which is sadly a big deal for this franchise since they almost never win a playoff series) all but ensure McHale will be back next season. Like I said, by the time Les and Morey admit to themselves he can't hack it, it'll be too late.

Bingo. Man, so true. Howard kept us in the game that first half, and he's played incredible basketball so far in the playoffs.

One last shot, gentlemen... I expect a different Rox team on Sunday.

One thing I'll say is that sometimes people get 'confusion' and 'effort' mixed up.

Going under the screen is not a lack of effort, it's a tactical mishap. It'll look like a lack of effort because a player gets a open shot, but if the players keep doing it then one can only assume that the coaches are cool with it...

you do realize the mavs sans Rondo and the Clippers are 2 of the 3 best offensive teams in the entire NBA right? If things are going well for them there ain't nobody who can stop them

    They are playing insane...

    we are playing below average

they pretty much doubled our output in Q3. IT makes me want to throw up how we always throws games away by having one quarter where we allow them to hit everything while we make nothing.

The rest of the game? Close.

Someone on this team has to step up. We aren't going to win any more games this series if we shoot <25% from the 3 pt line and miss so many buckets in the paint. Where is Ariza, Brewer, and T Jones? The role players have done little to nothing. Howard has mostly had a good series and Harden has had a few good stretches. But overall the quality of play has been poor.
