JL3 was nice tonight...not ready to give a knee jerk "man he should be backing up rafer, he's awesome" comment yet...he still dribbled around too much...one bucket was because he couldn't get the ball to Mac...

I like JL3 better than V-span now. I think Jeff knows who to play for the team. Hope v-span can cut down his TOs.

Yep. He has a good shooting touch. I remember he played good D on Nash.

LOL. He didn't pass the ball down the stretch...except for the assist that won the game...but other than that...

Bonzi clogs up the lane, he has no room to operate, esp w/Yao, turns out he really wasn't a good fit here, regardless of other things that happened

JL3 can create a liitle and he can hit big shots, he hit a huge game winner to send OSU to the Final Four at the buzzer.

I'd also like to see Snyder just take the ball and just use size and strength, athl. to just go straight 2 the basket and get something done.

I honestly thought we were going to lose this game way back in the 2nd quarter. It just didn't feel right. Things weren't really going our way and they looked very lethargic. They gutted out a tough win against a hot team while not playing their best basketball.

Come on, don't be too stingy on props. A basket is a basket, a win is a win.

A gutsy win by the Rockets! The Clippers played excellent defense and this is a playoff quality game.

Yao showed a great improvement on agressiveness. This is another example when you are being aggressive, the refs will be in favor of you. Keep working on that Yao.

High credit to JL3. Maybe he's extra motivated by his little brother playing at the highschool all-star game prior to the Rockets game. I'm glad JVG finally made a brave and correct decision down the stretch.

    Go Rockets!

    JLIII did very well tonight

Snyder - Don't know why he was benched so fast for that one botched layup. He would've made life a lot easier for the rockets if he was guarding magette

its nice to see we get something good out of a bad call. those of you b****ing that it was a dishonest win need to grow up, shut up and get a life.

i lost count of how many times we have been screwed by the refs, i dont feel bad at all. it was a good.

    Great win.

The best thing I feel is JVG finally using more than 8 rotations and JL3, Snyder all give team a good help when Rafer, JH and head strugle in second half.

I still remember Steve kerl is how important and help the Spurs.

This one is a confidence builder, playoff atmosphere. Lucas played some key minutes. Yao looked better. TMac was TMac and great to see Hayes back and playing well. Important win.

Great game, even though it got close there at the end.

    Heres a little tidbit:
Rockets increase their record to 46-26 and are now 20 games over .500
The last time they Rockets were 20 games over .500 was on April 20, 2005 the last day of the 2004-2005 regular season when they finished at 51-31. Quite an accomplishment hopefully they can keep winning down the stretch and well into the playoffs.

Just looked at the boxscore and Chuck Hayes deserves some recognition as well. For a guy who we thought would be out for a while, he played fantastic ball. 5-5 from the field. 10 points and 9 rebounds while battling Elton Brand who is a load. Brand had 24 but only 6 rebounds.
