With Elton Brand hitting a pull-up 3 and Jason Hart en fuego, I'm very pleased to be down by 7. But we ended both quarters terribly.

And when the playoffs roll about, will we hit our 3s then?

So it seems like this game we are reverting back to our old offense. And we are not getting Yao the ball. blah

It's been the case for two to three seasons running now. Almost always we have some no-name guy going off on us.

That is all our scrubs need to do. They are always wide open and all they do is brick the ball.

3rd quarter is gonna be important keeping in mind the Rockets 4th quarter performances especially when behind in the score...

I think that's a good thing? we're basically covering/doubling their scoring threat and daring a no-name to make their shots.

It's the same with our offense. The other guys sag off the perimeter into Yao or they cover Yao, usually leaving Rafer or Head for the shot. I'm happy that Mobley hasn't gone off.

Rockets need to come out strong and put together a full quarter. They have run out of steam at the end of both quarters. WHERE IS BONZI? This is one thing that I disagree with JVG on.

Utah is really picking it up since they lost some games in a row, the rockets seems to go the exact opposite direction...

Sure, we can afford it...ONLY if our scrubs -- who're also being left open -- make their shots as well.

Anyways, I think it's important to keep in mind that the Clippers have been playing really well as of late. In fact, they gave us a very tough time at home roughly a week ago.

Um, the kind of shots "no-name" is getting, I could sink them. No wonder Hart the Scrub is 6-7 FG. Maybe its just this game but...

And yes, allowing a no-name player to shoot 85% while doubling a star that normally shoots something like 50% is a massive defensive failure, without question. Not only that, but Brand is shooting over 50%...so. Double failure.

    Ouch.

Hopefully when the playoff cometh, Houston will pick up and Utah will go the exact opposite direction

why don't you get all the negativity out at once? would spare the post count.

    - luther can't make handle the ball
    - yao can't get rebounds
    - deke is slow
    - juwan is flat-footed and flat-shooting
    - snyder is not getting minutes
    - vasillis is not getting his tryout -- only a few games left!
    - utah is awesome, the rockets sucks, why am i following them again?
    - rafer is streaky
    - shane battier is absent on offense
    - novak can shoot! why is he DNP?
    - van gundy is so bald
    - tmac looks funny
    - no one has heart
    - chuck is undersized
    - the uniforms are too shiny

c'mon, just get it out. and you don't even have to take it back when we win.
