    Not defending McHale here, but what is he supposed to do? This system has been forced upon him by management and has no reliable playmakers aside from Harden(again, thanks to management). A couple months ago, he at least had the option of throwing the ball into D-Mo, but he's regressed to last year's form. I think a better coach would certainly get more consistent defensive performances from this team, but offensively I don't know what else they can do other than maybe take a few steps inside the line and attempt a shorter jumpshot.

    I understand that, but tell players to stop settling and attack the basket! Josh Smith can attack the basket, Brewer can, D-Mo can, TJ can, almost everybody can except Terry.
