I wonder if anything has changed like in the locker room or in practices becuase i am seeing a different team out there. I don't know if JVG has eased up a bit or what but they are playing a not looser our there.

When i was at the Knick game i noticed Rafer was pulling some old And 1 moves like the fake behind the back and just his dribbling and everyone seemed to be flowing a bit more.

The Old JVG would have pulled rafter aside and said something or yelled...just seems like a different feel to the team now. Anyone else have that feeling watching the team the past 3 games?

Oh hell yeah, I was actaully mad that I missed half the game today against the Clippers.

The Rox looked completely different. Yao is waving people off and really taking charge, Alston is simply playing ball, they are fastbreaking(???). It seems JVG has loosened the reins so to speak. The Rox are really enjoying themselves out there. Most important, it seems those offensive lapses are a rarity now.

I am really excited for this team, and feel we can really make some noise in the playoffs. We will be there. Bogans really brings a toughness on the perimeter and can knock down the jumper. We are really getting wide open looks. I am really excited!!!

Its so hard being a rox fan sometimes. BUT I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

You're overreacting. Everybody knows Sam Cassell has the nickname E.T.

to be fair to the clips they were missing their 1st and 2nd choice sf in magette and ross. ross's defence was sorely missed. the wilcox and radman trade was obviously disruptive for them. n'dong wasn't much of a replacement.

I don't think JVG has a problem with the and1 stuff. He doesn't care as long as you don't turn the ball over ala Steve Francis.

Rockets were awesome to watch. They played great against one of the best defense in the league. Mcgrady needs to balance his game out like he did in this game.

That was like the perfect game for the starters. its when they had games like that last season that you really saw their potential. when they finally started beating some good teams.

As I woke up this morning, I wondered, what was that? One of the greatest Rocket's games of all time? All the role players had career nights at the same time? The result of pushing the tempo? Can they do it again? I don't know, but it was amazing. It was like watching a team I had never seen before.

What a contrast between the game against the second best LA team and the best, playoff-bound LA team. The first a loss on the Rocket's home court. The Rocket's looked like the "little sister's of the poor," inept, slow, unmotivated, pathetic. I don't remember being more disappointed with them. Then, last night, on the Clippers home court, they become the historic and incomparable Showtime Lakers, I have never seen them look better. I don't know what to think. I am stunned.

Either they are the most inconsistent teams of all time, or they are finally getting it together, or JVG has been convinced of a new coaching strategy, or this was a "freak" one time occurance, or they are on their way to "scaring" everyone silly. If they have found the magic formula and are "juiced" to go, the NBA better brace themselves, because if they can keep it up, they can beat anyone. I don't know which one to choose.

for the next home game, you guys who attend the game need to where the opposing team's jersey so the rockets will think they're on the road.

After the last game, Van Gundy specifically said that we need to do a better job of getting baskets in transition to help get Tracy easier shots. I think the Rockets took that idea, and really ran with it -- so to speak. ;)

i watched the game on league pass and the clippers announcers noticed. they talked about how high the expectations for the rox were entering the season and how much we've struggled. the clips didn't play great but... we really kicked their ass last night. the clips play-by-play guy said we weren't messing around, that we looked like a team on a mission. hope i'm not being premature but it looks like WEEEEEEEEEEEE'RE BACK!
