The game doesn't start for another 6 hours yet somehow you know the Rockets have come out flat?

 

Harden will probably get less than 7 free throws today watch.

 

One thing is for certain: The Rockets WON'T enjoy a coaching advantage in this game...

Yeah this is a concern, if they aren’t gonna call the contact on the arm (or hand) on the shot that’s one thing, and if James is kicking out (which he has done before, not noting it much this year so far) fine, but literally jumping up and into his landing area (which seems to be happening a lot) is scary sheet and has to be called (but hasn’t as much as it should be so far). They need to do their damn jobs right and safeguard the players from that crap !

This seems likely. League won't allow an LA team to lose a primetime game like this. Refs will be one sided.

 

God knows what the refs will do to us. We need to play well enough that it won’t matter what they do. Fingers crossed. I’m glad it’s starting late. Going out for Cajun food with some friends and the late start means I’ll be able to watch it live.

 

This is going to be one of those games where the refs substract points from us 10 minutes later.

On the surface, @pippendagimp, you could say that Creole is more tomato based, Cajun is not. Both are French influenced, but the Cajun heritage came from French Acadians kicked out of Nova Scotia because they were Catholic. The Creoles largely came from the cities of both France and Spain. The Acadian Cajuns settled mostly in southwest Louisiana, where they still have a vibrant culture, are largely still Catholic, and many still speak their bastardized version of French. They had a hard life, living off what the land and the water gave them. My brother-in-law is Cajun, Catholic, speaks both Cajun and English with that heavy accent, tells hilarious stories, and makes a mean seafood gumbo. He’s an 80 year old stereotypical Cajun. One thing you might hear in New Orleans is that the Creoles feed a family with 3 chickens, and the Cajuns will feed 3 families with one.

I haven’t said much, really, especially about the Creoles and the food, but I have to go eat now. ;-)
