He will not return to Europe....will he be traded? I doubt it

the past few games had to be wins, JVG would not risk it....

I see him playing against the Blazers 10-20 minutes, maybe we can see Novak and Lucas a little

if he does not contribute much this season....he will have to work on his shot during the summer...I think next season will be crucial for him...

I don't think JVG would let him go just like that....

guy came over from a diff country, has to get used to many diff things...

he def needs to work on his shot...

I like the strategy of this game, that is, to establish other players other than Yao early in the game. Since Yao can pretty much establish himself any time he wants if he is not tired, it is better to involve everybody else early in the game and to save Yao's better part of energy for the 2nd half to close out the game.

That is the same reason I did not have a good feeling when watching the 1st game vs. Lakers, when Yao spent a lot of energy in the first 2 quarters only to find themselves trailing by two at the half time. And when Lakers tried to make everything harder for a more tired Yao in the 2nd half, nobody else on the team can keep their hands warm enough to make shots.

It's a long season and a lot of things can happen. He can't play any worse than his last 4-5 games so hopefully things go up from here.

    Just got news:

The suspensions and fines are below:

The Knicks and Nuggets organizations have each been fined $500,000 each as a result of the altercation.
Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been suspended for 15 games.
Nuggets guard J.R. Smith has been suspended for 10 games.

    Is that good for us?

When will we have a game vs Nuggets?

We will meet them in their 13th and 16th game from now on. Hopefully we will have easy wins.

Lets hope that NBA does not reduce the penalty after Nuggets appeals.

I love that strategy also. That's the exact same thing that Kobe does. He establishes his roleplayers first. If they falter, he starts shooting more shots. Kobe saves his energy for the 2nd half, while the roleplayers get blown out in the 1st half.

Quote from an ESPN article (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2701228)

Per the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Anthony can attempt to get his suspension lessened through arbitration because it is longer than 12 games. So far, Anthony hasn't announced whether he will try to do this. Regardless, his suspension begins immediately, starting with Monday night's home game with the Wizards.

There is precedent for reducing suspensions. After the Pacers-Pistons brawl, an arbitrator lessened Jermaine O'Neal's suspension from 25 to 15 games.

Several players had their punishment (imposed by Stern) reduced upon appeal by an arbitrator.
