Today, Wilcox might think Yao's rebounding is a joke.

Is there a reason why people can't accept that we lost to a better team? The 5-game winning streak we had were all against mediocre teams. This was the first upper-echelon team we've faced in a while.

All I see are a bunch of 13 year olds threatening to kick each other's asses over the internet because of differing opinions. I see idiots screaming for trades and calling the team a failure if we don't achieve an 82-0 season. I miss the days when people around here could actually share basketball knowledge and analysis. I learned a hell of a lot from this board the past few years. Nowadays I shudder to think what kind of crap fills the GARM after a loss.

EDIT: If I see one more post about Yao being 7'6" and how he should get 12+ rebounds a game, I'm gonna lose it. :p

Its called letting go of stress my friend. I do it and then I feel better. This forum is for stating your opinion and we just get mad because we hate for our Rockets to lose. I let my stress go today on this forum and I feel better, I don't know what I'd do without it. If your a calm person then cool but your 1 in a million because the only other person I know alive today who would not get upset at a Rockets lose is The Dali Lama :D

What's up with all the bandwagoners? One loss after 4 straight road wins (5 total) Bowen had a bad game, so what? Now I suppose everyone loves Moochie because he had good games. Look at the bigger picture. Five wins and everyone loves the Rockets, and one admittedly disappointing loss everyone b****es. What's next, are you gonna bash T-Mac because he went 3 for 14 or something in the second happen? Just be a fan and be supportive.

Someone said a Rockets player can't rebound. I replied that actually this Rockets player averages 11 rebounds in the last 3 games. My point is that this Rockets player may not be a great rebounder but it's silly to say he can't rebound. Then you jumped in and said a player on another team might think the Rockets player's rebounding is a joke. What's your point?

"the Problem is Anderson is out, Bowen was playing DA's minutes, and taking his shots..."

We have a weak 4 position, weak at the guards, no depth and old.....

I will not comment on the coaching

The Clips just had too much firepower down the stretch. The officiating was really bad tonight and blew a lot of calls.

I'll take a 5 game winning streak and a loss to the #1 team in the Pacific, but the Clips are a perfect example of why you need more offense from your role player.

Yes, Wilcox was pretty awesome today by his standards. I was waching the local LA broadcast and the announcer said Wilcox played the best game he ever had as a Clipper.

We are going to make the playoffs!!! Our goal is not just to make the playoffs, our goal is to go to the Western Con. Finals!!!! Are we going to get out the first round? Who knows?

We really missed DA today. D.wesley played hard but he is undersized and old thats why he got 5 fouls. Luther head is too small for sg and and not enough dribble for the pg. However, he is a rookie and can improve to be good player.

Ryan Bowen has no business starting , EVEN if we go on a ten game win streak. He is role player who provides energy and D. He should not be taking 11 shots and the worst part is that they were WIDE open shots. He was more open than a AIDS patient at a orgy party. JVG should of subbed steve graham , because he could of at least been a physical presence and a change of pace. Hell, just take Bowen out da game.

T-MAC= had the crowd and Clippers in a state of shock in first half. He had 6 rebs. and 6 ast. But ran out of gas in the second half.

Yao was marvelous, but his lack of aggressiveness showed on the loose rebounds . I get tired of hearing Bill Worrell say: Yao with the rebound, but is muscled/taken away by .

We need some trades for a sg/sf bring Ron Artest in or even Al Harrington. Look at corey maggete, fred jones, larry hughes , danny fortston. Look in the D-league for a big brusier on the boards. Even if he is avg. 0 points as long he is avg. 12-15 boards bring him along.

Allright everyone stop b****ing and Whinning. Okay heres a new rule on this board that I hear a few are wanting so lets give it to them. NO complaining ever about the Rockets on this board. You are not allowed to get mad and let your stress go ever on this board. You have to be calm at all times and never say anything negative. Don't post anything funny and your first ammendment rights have been taken away...C'mon guys we all love the Rockets or we wouldn't waste anytime posting here. Its a forum where you can say what you feel. If you want to talk about stats only then maybe you should go to a stats only forum. Its just a GAME....Lets Have Fun.. :)

LOL, Wilcox 3.5 Rebounds per game, even less than Alston 3.9, another joke?

So you like to judge only by one game? Ok, if no Yao's last min several Rebounds, Rox just cannt lock the win of Sonics game.

We played well. I liked the Clippers' play. They're a pretty good team. We should have won, and it doesn't matter because we're going to win our next 5 games for sure..and we'll have 14 wins! I don't think we're that far behind in the standings.
Also, we don't have a lot of key players. I don't know if they're injured or just in the doghouse..but we're playign well considering a lot of guys are out.
Also, I'm glad JVG stood up and argued about the nocall ..the out of bounds Wilcox, but I don't think Wilcox was out of bounds. I think he jumped and hit the ball..and then he landed on his feet. Players do that a lot.

I think Bill made a mistake saying we have 2 superstars, but they have 3. Mobley, Cassell, and Brand aren't superstars. They do have a good team though. I enjoyed watching isolations. :)

You hit the nail on the head. We were tired at the end of the game. They just kept coming hard. They didn't miss at the end of the game. You could tell our guys were tired. This is far from a bad loss though. This was a very good team on their home floor. I saw some good things. At the beginning of the game, we caught a glimpse of what this team can be. When T-Mac and Yao are both going full strength, we are going to be tough to beat.
