i'm sure it has been said but ryan bowen doesn't need to be taking 11 shots EVER. i know he was open but he can't make them, never has. one thing i noticed is that we HAVE to find another SG/SF. bowen just can't get it done offensively and is a complete liability, all the other team has to do is worry about 4 guys. i don't care how good the other 4 are, you can't play 4 on 5 most of the game. the front office has to go out and find another swingman who can make open shots.

overall, we are playing much better as a team. we have to beat the lakers though to finish off the road trip.

lets bet against you, we need some easy money.

you loose to the clippers because they are in 1st place in the pacific and they have a championship point guard.

do we have a championship PG? no.

people like you make houston rockets fans look bad. i'm holding it down for the
    high IQ Rocket fans here.

This game was tied at half time. Then McGrady shut down. Why does it seem that injury always plagues this team? Were we this injury prone during the red and mustard years?

Looks like some people do not know that the Clippers is now 16-8 and 1st in the Pacific Divison. Oh, by the way, Elton Brand has been playing like a MVP candidate this season.

Ryan only has less than 1M salary a year. What could you expect him to do? He is fine.
I think we are OK. Remember we have 4 guards staying in Houston but 2 rookies in the field.

But what trade options do we have ? We have half of our team injured !! We have no trade bait and unless we can prove that we can at least shoot the ball outside Tracy and Yao we have nothing but crap surrounding them. Alsso remember that our Salary cap position sucks and Les is as tight as an inmate taking a shower...Looks like we are either going to have to either limp through this season or hope the hurt get better. I mean look at Alston he used to be a good shooter..but has shown us anything? DA..used to be a good shooter but once again has shown us anything?..No to both questions.. We will just have to see.. :)

You must be referring to the infamous Bryan Owen. Separated from his twin at birth, I heard Bryan Owen is the most selfish, cold-blooded mid-range threat there is. Unfortunately he refuses to cross halfcourt to play D and talks to the Power dancers whenever his man has the ball.

Unlike Ryan, who carries JVG's game tapes and peanut M&Ms to and from the Toyota Center, Bryan Owen once b**** slapped his coach and slept with the GM's wife.

And that we're in the middle of a grueling 6-game road trip against pretty good teams. The sky is not falling.

That's what I hate about the game thread: The people screaming the loudest are the ones who know the least.

Step up and show some leadership. As much as I hate Kobe as a person, there's no way he would let other players miss all those shots without going up to them and either ripping them a new one to fire them up, or to calm them down and give them some confidence. I use Kobe because they are similar players and play similar roles for their teams.

It looks like he just watches his teammates lose the game for him at times and doesn't really do much to change that, except for shooting some tough long-ranged jumpers to try and dig them out of a hole. He went to the basket a couple of times in the second half but mostly looked like he was just trying to get bailed out by the refs rather than actually make a layup.

I love TMac and I don't know how he feels or what he's thinking, but I know what it LOOKS like to ME. It looks like he's way too care free at times.

We'll be fine. Stern has just given us the toughest schedule in the NBA and after tomorrow we'll go home. The Roxs are tired and even if they lose tomorrow 4-2 is a big step in the right direction. Yao still can't rebound but he is playing better offensively. We need the injured back and we can make some noise. A trade for someone like Padgett would be nice but thats not our answer. Remember we have T-Mac and can win with him on any given night..

Good one. Seriously though, I KNOW Tracy is the leader (unlike Charles). I just wish he would manage his team more like a leader when things start to unravel.

    Jordan
    Magic
    Bird
    Hakeem
    Kobe
    Garnett

They wouldn't just sit there while role players shoot them out of a game. That's what I'm saying.

Two against the world is not going to win many games on the road, especially against a really good team. Analysis: no "role player" support. Ongoing bottomline, win or lose, not enough talent to contend, not even close. And the Rockets have two All-Stars. Yes, I know, Barry, Alston, and Anderson are out. Would it have made a difference?

word. i'm reluctant to even sign on to clutchfans sometimes because of all the freaking annoying fairweather fans, whining and griping about the possibility of not making the playoffs after each loss or setback. waaahh waaahh.

if you're gonna be fairweather, go find another team to "cheer" for.
