No easy layup/dunk/alley oop for Blake and Deandre, make those two earn them from the ft line. I'm expecting Dwight and Asik to dominate against the Clips front court, and Lin to hold his own against CP3. CP3 isn't going to go off like he did against the Warriors, Lin is a far better defender than Curry/Thompson.

QUESTION: I am in college station so I clearly dont have CSN. Will the game be blacked out on NBA TV in college station or is that only for Houston?

Howard and asik have to pay big down low, they have to control the boards & protect the rim. Its in La so All eyes will be in Howard if he can come to play out up 20 without forcing it I say we come out with a W

perimeter defense is important, they will eat in us no watching harden out there, Crawford and reddick will eat him alive if he does.

brewer may have to go at the 2, don't think brooks is cut out for this perimeter defense task would be good to have bev. coming off the bench for this one

I think we should also hope to see more mental toughness from our guys than GSW employed the other night. They were still very much in the game until the Clippers went on a run fueled by 3-4 consecutive GSW turnovers. You could see the shift in their posture, and they never recovered. There were times last season when you could almost see the energy drain if the other team went on a tear... hopefully the exposure to a gritty postseason upped our tenacity.

I want Lin to focus on his defense moreso than his offense in this game. I was really getting worried that his defense had regressed after watching last night's first half, but thankfully he redeemed himself in the second half. I think we have enough offensive options in the other starters for him to just focus on slowing Cp3 down. Also, he needs to improve his playmaking.

Harden will have a monster game just because he wasn't his dominant self last game and the law of averages will kick in...

Lol that's optimistic. So basically Dwight will destroy both of our bigs, but CP3 will be matched by Lin? Because I'll tell you this.. Asik has never done much against us and doesn't scare me.

Add in, getting back on defense and watch for the lob since they love to do it so much.

Our last game against them we didn't allow neither, and we were victorious.

It's not that we aren't a better team. Our team must be tired right now. They've played 40 + minutes last game, and this is our 3rd game in 4 nights. Our schedule is hell these next few games. 8 games in 13 nights.

Clog the paint and make Blake shoot 3 pointers.

Sounds like you guys are already preparing a laundry list of excuses. If you lose it will likely be because you got outplayed, not because of the same fatigue all teams in the NBA deal with. If we lose it will be because of the same thing. In fact... it's long been theorized by many coaches that the team coming off 3-4+ days of rest is far worse than playing days leading up to a game in terms of finding rhythm etc.

Anyways I'm expecting a great, close game.

Not really... ...it's simply a sign that the Clippers/CP3 deserve some respect/caution.

Do you expect us to think we'll blow you out instead?

I'm going as well and I agree if we had Bev it would make a whole lot of difference. Should be a tight game that comes down to which stars take over in crunch time. CP3 has been playing out of his mind since the lost to LA I wonder if parsons can slow him down?

I'm glad half of the people here are being level headed and reasonable about it. Just saying let's see what happens before we attribute reasons to a win or loss a day before the game. Many teams prefer 1 day of rest over 3, unless nursing a bunch of injuries. I can just as easily argue that the Rockets have the edge in that regard. Pop is famous for saying he hates resting for multiple days.

Although I do admit this may be beneficial for the Clippers because we are trying to integrate a completely new system, 6 new players etc.. so these 3 practice days are good to work out some kinks and Darren Collison can heal up.
