Oh--my--God, they were God-awful!! Did you hear some of the garbage they spewed out tonight?

    1. "Yao is a great free-throw shooter, but he's sure not showing it tonight." This was after Yao's first 2 free throws (1 out of 2), as if that's an accurate measure.

    2. "That was an obvious foul by Yao and he knows it, too." This was after Hayes clearly hacked Kaman on the arm intentionally.

    3. "Has anyone made scoring look any easier than Tracy..
"George Gervin." He did this 3 times without letting the other announcer finish when the 1st was trying to give T-Mac credit.

    4. One of the announcers asked, "There's only 1 active player in the NBA who has a higher career scoring average than McGrady- do you know who it is?" Then, as a clue, he said, "And his numbers have been steadily decreasing..." and "And we're playing them next Sunday." The idiot couldn't figure out it was Shaq- actually said, "I keep thinking- who on the Pacers has that kind of scoring average?" I mean, c'mon, what a moron! It was hysterical.

They make Clyde look like Bob Costas.

Apparently, he wasn't the only idiot. Iverson and Bryant also have higher career scoring averages.

I thought they were pretty funny. Number 1, he was being ironic. Number 2 was just bad homerism and wishful thinking, it also angered me. Number 3 was funny, just an old guy being curmudgeonly. I liked them compared to Clyde, not that it's saying much.

Is T-Mac looking pretty smooth out there? He was playing almost effortlessly before he got hurt.

he was a top 3 player before he got hurt. came back and looked mortal for 2 games. now back to a top 3 player the last 2 games.

he's just in great shape. his jumpshot has looked superb, finishing great around the rim, still has his legs in the 4th...

its a wonder what an offseason can do for a guy who people thought he was slow/out of shape last yr

well, we've been searching so hard for our "identity" as a team.

I think this game just cemented it...

    we're a 1-man team!!

Those L.A announcers were pretty funny.... The game tonight felt like an exhibition game in the D-League... I think the rockets play better when there is no crowd participation involved...

T-Mac on fire, rafer is surprisingly efficient.

Kaman totally nailed down Yao like last year, but no one can step up to score with Brand/Cassell/Livingston missing... I'm starting feel sorry for LAC as 4th quarter closing up...

People want Rafer's head as usual, despite his 17pt 9ast, 50% shooting.
Shane "the glue" gets free pass as usual, despite he's 1-7 in 31 mins.

Actually the quote of the night came from our very Bullard with his telestrator points. Early in the game he was diagraming out a new wrinkle in the offense with Yao and tracy, when he said, "We have the triangle on the strong side and we have the two weakside players playing on the weakside but we won't talk about them.

The game was tough to watch, but T-Mac made it easier on the eyes.

And yeah, it wasn't that easy on the ears either. The Clippers broadcasters were r****ded. One was pretty cool, because he kept trying to give the Rockets their props (Like T-Mac's silky smooth play, Yao's FT shooting and shooting in general, etc.) but that other tardmuffin kept interrupting him and stopping him and proving him wrong. Ridiculous. If that's all you have to do to be a broadcaster, sign me up. I mean when he said who was the only active player in the league to average more than T-Mac over their career I was like what the hell?

Iverson and Bryant came to mind very fast. Then Shaq eased in. Also, although they haven't been in the league as long as Kobe, Iverson, Shaq, and McGrady especially, Melo, Wade, and LeBron have higher career PPGs than T-Mac. Damn they need to do their research, either that, or we (I) didn't hear the question right.

    Anyways...that was some BAD commentating.

The clippers color guy was terrible. Plenty of people have a higher career scoring average than T-MAC. Iverson and kobe each have higher averages. What was up with the 5 minute interview with Frank Munoz? They said Yao clearly fouled Dickau on the drive but isnt Yao allowed his space and position on the floor?

I think Steve's attitude towards his teammates has impressed me considering his lack of playing time. He cheers Yao on when he makes a good play and is joking around with Tracy and Rafer during breaks. Team morale is important right now considering some players not getting the playing time they think they deserve.
