ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 1/4/2012

Our team is scared ****less attacking the basket outside of Lowry and scola. Hill can't post a stamp. Patterson only plays d and only shoots jumpers. Bud needs motivation to get it going. Kmart needs to find his shot. Dragic needs to facilitate.

 

Lets hope so. My fantasy team needs it.

 

- Dalembert needs around 30 minutes today. He may not be in optimal game shape, but he's still our best C - and our best shot at contesting their athletes up front.
- I doubt Lee plays today. Williams needs to take advantage and exploit their weakness at the 2/3.
- This is a game we'll miss Hayes. He caused Blake problems last year.
- Budinger needs to keep shooting confidently.

 

We're going to be seeing some T-Will tonight; god help us.

 

Looking like another L.

 

1) If we run Bud and Parsons at the 3, Caron Butler is gonna have his way with us tonight. I want to see TWill on Butler all night.

2) I don't see any way of stopping Blake Griffin, but we will have to double-team the post or else. Dalembert must play more minutes tonight.

3) I think Lowry and Dragic will be formidable defenders on Chris Paul.

The Clips are a shallow team, and if we can defend Butler and Paul well, Griffin can have his way with us in the paint all night and we should still pull off the win.

We'll also need a big game from Kevin Martin if we are gonna win this one.

Job #1 is to get DeAndre Jordan into foul trouble. DJ is foul-prone. More important: The #1 big man off the bench for the Clips = Brian Cook.

If Brian Cook has to play more than 20 minutes, it significantly reduces the chances of the Clips winning a game.

Shaking my head knowing that our opponent have Jordan&Griffin(Not as deadly as Gasol&Bynum but good enough to destroy us).

I can see them lob all game long while our center cant do anything about it.
