More minutes to Lawson!! More minutes to Monstrezz!!

I think we are getting out of the slump. Cavs are a great team, very close to SA and GSW, both historical great teams. Let´s go for the 5th seed for now!

    EASY WIN

We got the Clips numbers. We tend to play them when they are banged up and missing key players.

CP3 last game and now Blake and DJ

Reddick bothers Harden because he plays him straight up and doesn't reach. Battier like.

I'd love to see Harden cover Redick, now THAT would be interesting.

Redick doesn't really do anything special, it's really DeAndre Jordan.

Great shot-blockers bother Harden the most. It gets in his head when he feels he can't drive and get easy lay ups, that's when he starts settling. You see it against guys like Jordan and Ibaka.

All Redick does is play within the team defense, which sometimes is focused on solely stopping Harden.

    This.

Redick doesn't reach, and he funnels Harden to the path where Jordan is. He does play Harden very smart.

    Agreed.

Random note: JJ was on a Lowe Post podcast in the past and was asked who is the toughest player he has had to guard. His response: James Harden.

Must win game if the Rockets have any hope of getting that 4th seed and home court in Round 1. Cuz they ain't catching OKC for 3rd.

    100% agee.

If everything goes well, 4th at best. Home court with this start would be great news.

Rockets need to finish on the opposite bracket of GSW no matter what.

Too early for that ****. Make the playoffs first, which is not a sure thing yet.

Go win every game with max effort and see if we can finish as #4 or #5. HCA over anything.

Without Jordan and Griffin, Harrell will hustle the **** out of their front court and provide good mobility against whichever wing he faces, Mbah a Moute or Pierce, grabbing tons of offensive rebounds etc. You just know Tjones will get abused in that matchup especially against Pierce.

CP3 is not a big PG, so I think it should be one of the easier matchup for Lawson. Let Terry go against Prigioni.

Idk. Cole Aldrich has been balling lately too, and a much better FT shooter. At least with Jordan, we can go hack-whover at each other. Plus Dwight owns Jordan.

It's just Jordan plays good defense on Harden's driving game, we'll see how Harden responds. If we stretch the floor well taking away their 3/4 from the paint, I believe Harden and Howard's PnR game will destroy Jordan (who is not a smart position defender). Harden or Howard, pick your poison.

First thing's first. Get above the 7th seed so we get OKC or LA in Round 1 instead of the Warriors or Spurs. Next will be trying to secure the 4th seed and home court. It's a long shot, but it is possible if they quit losing games to mediocre teams and don't drop anymore at home(they've already got 10 losses at Toyota Center!).

And BTW, the Rockets can't worry about brackets right now. Because not only do they need to be focused on their own issues(of which there are many), but it's entirely possible Golden State won't even be the #1 seed in the West. The Spurs are only 2 back in the loss column.

I said in the loss column. Overall yes, they're only 1 1/2 back. Point is as insane as the Warriors have been this year, the Spurs are right behind them on pace for their own 70+ win season.

I do take comfort in the fact that at least one of these two teams by season's end will have nothing to show for all those regular season wins.
