By the way, the potential injuries to Deke and Yao are exactly why Head should not have been in the game.

When your team is up 25 points, there is NO NEED to have anyone that is a primary rotation player on the floor, that is just stupid.

I have come up with the undeniable conclusion that DD can **** up a wet dream.

Obviously you never listened to many out of state games. Bostonians are not homers. Neither are New Yorkers. If you listen to their home games, they get in trouble on a consistant with their ownership because of their harsh words for the home team.

Have you listened to a Atlanta Braves game? Or a NC Tarheel game? Or a St. Louis Cardinal game? Or a Notre Dame game ANYWHERE?

If you think Bostonians or New Yorkers are homers...you really need to expand your listening of other broadcasters.

Heh....I am very happy with the win, but I worry about the bigger picture.

I don't want to just win against Boston, I want the team to win it all....

    :D

Yao was out there because he needed game time reps.

just keep i mind that this is only 1 game out of the 82 games in the season, and we played the worst team in the league...unless we beat the unstoppable spurs, jazz, mavs, suns, and cavs with some consistency, the chances of winning the playoffs is slim to none. But we do have some key pieces in our team: battier, and snyder, and deke/hayes, and w/o these players' hustle and intangibles, we are the same as the celtics that is without a good bench and solid pg play.

I want the team to win it all also.

But geesh...the guy can't win. When Deke got hurt, Yao had to come back in. T-Mac sat down also. I did see Lucas in the game so its not like the Rockets were going all out.

In reality, I would like my boyfriend to not be so much pedal to the medal 24/7. But he learned that from Riley. And I say, what works for Riley, works for me.

Gundy is 100mph, take no prisoners type of guy. Will it work? Probably. Probably not. But we should be already use to this. And your boy Pop (who who seems to be your lova!) has the same approach. They both walk with a stick up their asses 24/7. They like slapping players down, playing them hard no matter what. I bet you if Yao comes back at least close to 100%, we will all appreciate that Gundy will have instilled a killer instinct on this team. Assasination of another team should be the goal on a nightly basis. If you have your foot down on their throats, grap a pair of pumps that fit, put it on your other foot and use that one to step on the opponents eye! Thats the way I want my team to think on a NIGHTLY basis. Think MJ. Think Hakeem. Think Kobe.

I rather have that style than a Country Club atmosphere.

The point of this was...? We're 2-2 against the Spurs, 1-1 against the Jazz, and 1-1 against the Cavs, yet somehow this means that we somehow have a worse chance in the playoffs than them (since this is the idea that I'm getting based on your comment) and that we are somehow the same as the Celtics. Btw, Deke and Snyder ARE part of our bench...you can't just take them out and then say without them we have no bench. Otherwise you'd be able to do that with almost every other team in the league.

Another of those humourous comics !!

Yao Ming: TMD (Ta Ma De) !! I've just returned and you played rough, tough and dirty on me. Brothers......demolish them for me !!

TMAC: Ho Ho Ho !!! We're ready for it.

Shane Battier: McGrady, our cannons are loaded now !!!

The Boston Celtic Player: That's not intentional !!

Yao Ming got roughed again, was furious, and the Rockets took the Boston Celtics apart !!

good observation genius. Any team without hassle and intangebles will be like the celtics....that's pointing out the obvious.
If we beat those other teams inconsistently, win some lose some, then that means the odds are 50-50 that we can beeat them not slim to none as you pointed out.

Plus don't you know a Van Gundy team when you see one? They're not the greatest but they have heart and hustle + 2 certified all stars. They can do damage come playoffs.
Don't bet aginst them. Go Rockets

Exactly, we've won 50% against our games with the aformentiond teams above. That means they too can lose to us...why the hell are our chances slim to none? We are not even functioning 100% which I hope and pray we'll be come playoffs time....We can surprise the west!!!
