According to what as reported on Chinese websites, the latest from Nelson Luis, Rockets' Director of Media Relations, was that the bruise was not serious....and Deke should be okay.

In case anyone was wondering about his whereabouts and why he wasn't put in in the 4th, Jonathan Feigen said in his blog that Jake Tsakalidis was out with a head cold.

    Funny comics.......

TMAC (pointed to his jersey): 100

Yao Ming (pointed to his jersey): 11

Shane Battier (pointed to his jersey): minus 80, equal to 31 !!!

So Houston Rockets beat Boston Celtic 111 vs 80 !!!

LOL. :) That's the worst battier drawing ever. Check out his forearms. Looks like he was the b*stard child of Popeye and a fiddler crab.

Great game, but having Luther in there with the scrubs was just stupid....why risk an injury to a rotation player when you are up 30?

Rockets can only have 12 players active.
Yao, Chuck, Battier, McGrady, Alston, Luther, Juwan, Mutombo, Snyder, Lucas, Novak, and ?

Was Spanoulis the 12th man, or Tsakalidis? I would assume Spanoulis is the one who'd be on the inactive list, but everyone here is talking about him not playing at the end so I guess it was Jake. Or was it?

Edit: n/m Jake was inactive. So Spanoulis could have played.

V-Span was in uniform....I assumed he was the 12th man.

And the box score shows him with a DNP-CD....probably JVG sending another message because of his 3 turnovers against the Spurs.

Good think Tmac doesn't get those messages...he had 6 turnovers tonight.

Please don't compare V-span to T-mac (and yes, I know about that stupid quote).

Not comparing him at all, it is just one of my beef's with JVG about him being hypocritical and not treating all players equally.

I like Popovich's style where he treats everyone and expects the same effort, regardless of their stature.

You're trying to show he's hypocritical by making a comparison. Don't deny it.

McGrady also had 25 points, 9 assists, and was focal point of our offensive attack. JVG isn't happy with his 6 turnovers, I'm sure, but it's not like McGrady wasn't still our most valuable player on the floor. Spanoulis had 3 turnovers (virtually in succession), and not much else. There's absolutely no hypocrisy involved here.

Didn't I just say that? Yes, I was pointing it out because of my belief in JVG's hypocrisy, but......

I am happy about the win, I still have issues with JVG's methods, I don't agree with them. It is a waste of time to discuss em.

No need for buzz kill...we hammered the Celts..YEAH !
