That game was crap. The Rockets seem content just letting that one go just because they were playing a back-to-back. It was a pathetic effort from the start and I'm pissed off at our team for their lack of everything. I expect more as they should. Instead, we got lackluster play and excuses.

Obviously they won't be that bad, but I do think some of these new additions will not be as good as we thought. That being said, with the demise of Phoenix and Seattle coming back down to Earth, this team still is easily top three or four in the West.

DA looks old, Swift looks lost, like he did in Memphis. Those two things probably won't change much. The only guy who out of the free agents whom I think is just having a problem adjusting is Alston. Luther Head is looking like a great pick though, he will bring more than expected.

That was just a terrible game. The offense looked half asleep. The defense was just atrocious, no other word for it. The only excuse I can offer for this pathetic showing is that its our first back-to-back, and the team was probably worn out. Other than that I have no excuse. I will now go back to playing NBA2k6 where the Rockets are 24-3. At least I don't get tired playing back to back to back games in one day.

Agree. With a healthy T-mac that would have been the first loss of the season last night.

I think Charlie Ward is an assistant. Oh, Patrick is another one. ;)

The no assistant part is pretty funny even though I know what you are really trying to say. The assistant(Steve Clifford) was on the radio, pre-game, and the number one thing he touched on was the three-point shooting ability of Lafrentz and their ability to rotate out to cover him. I was almost laughing at him saying 'come on, Lafrentz won't be a problem" but sure enough these guys, although they are just professional basketball coaches with decades of coaching experience, they do know whats going on. half the time at least.

To avoid future mistyping common basketball jargons, I suggest you use shorthand expressions. For instance, you can simply type the first three letters of the word ...

pretty much sums up my thoughts as well

only with alot more expletives and anger in general.

really pisses me off hearing excuses after the game , hearing the players act like they don't give a damn.

oh but of course our excuse was it was a back to back, so everything's fine :)

and for alston, the point was not how many ass he could get per game, the only thing we shoule keep concerned was the tempo and defence, rafel got no changement on his play,he should learn for an pg,he couldnt survive by only on pace, he should learn to control, and obviously his defence was awful
