I meant in terms of NBA players. Both Maggette and Pierce make their living at the FT line more than any other players, just because they constantly drive in and create contact.

There's nothing spectacular about their games in particular... just FT shooting.

lol, sura showing off his sweet stroke to end the half. does have 7 assists though, so very nice.

unless pierce goes off or yao picks up #4 real quick this should be easy. and tmac hasn't even gotten going yet.

Taylor fouls too much, Howard never fouls. Both frustrating.

Padgett is really hot today for 4/4 :D . I guess he take the place of MoT as 6th man.

watch out for the second half.

Celtics are gonna start fronting bigtime. This always happens.

Yao will get contained just when you think he'll start dropping the
bombs for something like 30 and 12.

I hope yao doesn't dissapear but it doesn't look good. plus he has 3 fouls.

If Yao can only learn to adjust within the game to different tatics but I guess that would be asking too much of him.

tmac: only 9 points....he will score about 15 in the second half. as long as yao stays on the court we will win.

I always thought to myself that Padgett is a sleeper, and Gundy should give Padgett a chance to play and show what he can do on the court.

I highly doubt they have the capability to do so... nor have they practiced it. Otherwise, we probably would have seen it already. (I have yet to see a team make this "adjustment" to Yao mid-game... they either start with the fronting and abandon it, or never do it at all).

And even if that is the case, Tracy should have more room to work with if the Celtics send the other defender down to spy against the lob pass to Yao.

One thing I am weary about is Yao picking up his 4th within the 1st minute of the half... it seems like the Celtics only offense is driving in hard and trying to draw contact... and you can bet that Pierce will be gunning for a foul call.

The reason Yao picks more foul than last year because he is only one defend paint. Did you see Howard at paint at defend side?

They're talking about Steve Nash being the MVP so far----His only job is to feed Amare. I say give him a chance.

Either he comes back with a renewed enthusiasm to work hard on his game and give 110%... or he gets traded to whomever puts up anything semi-feasible for him.

He's not out because of the "flu."
