It is... and I can't imagine why any NBA team would defend him like this.

So far this year, its been Sacramento (in the first home game), Toronto (only in our home game), Orlando twice, and tonight Boston.

I guess they didn't pay for the official "scouting report."

Tmac just found out that even if he is awful 2-8 from the field, we will blow out the Celtics if we get the big guy going.

It's good that the PA announcer isn't trying to let the Houston fans in Houston hear him.

4 more baskets for 8 points will be all for YAO in this game.

Its obvious that their "defense" is geared to stop one, not the other.

Also, I've found the cure to Yao's stamina problems... SCORING. Seriously, he has this bounce in his step when he gets rolling on the offensive end... that it helps his defense and rebounding as well. Players shouldn't be this tempermental... but Yao apparently likes the baskets.

payton is old and about to be done. we'd be looking for a pg pretty soon even if we got him. and he's not the good shooter we need. mccarty? eh. and we have to give up a first for payton? omg. a guy who could be with us for a long time for payton the rental. no way you should give up a pick for a mid-30's guy unless you are completing your championship roster, and we aren't.

and damn padgett is on fire.

If single coverage everyday, I won't be suprise if Yao average over 25pts per game.

arrgh... Yao.... with a 15 point lead, don't worry about taking charges for your 3rd foul.

it's amazing really. there's no reasonable explanation for letting yao torch you when fronting has been proven to neutralize him and we've never had an effective answer for it due to erratic shooting. but hey, if they wanna put walter mccarty on him then by all means keep doing it.

The Celtics are quick enough to stay with our perimeter game... but not big enough (or smart enough, apparently) to front or guard Yao.

And Paul Pierce and Corey Maggette do nothing but shoot FT's for half of their points.

    Attention Rockets organization:

Let's sign up Nick for free for 10 days and see how great he is at feeding Yao. Maybe he can making a living by being Yao's PG even if he has no other offensive skills in him!;)
