4+ mins, with 4 points and 3 RBs. JVG wanted to reward the guy.

Lafrentz has a huge contract and doesn't rebound particularly well. He's a better version of Scott Padgett, with bad knees.

the one where the threw it out? wesley faked like he was going baseline and then when rod threw it wesley stopped and started going back to the 3 point line so it went out of bounds.

Now, the fronting defense of Yao begins... and he subsequently fouls.

Some players just "have" that instinct to throw it in to the post.... Horry had it... Barry has it (although he's small, so he's limited)... I have it (I swear... play a pickup game with me, and I'll find you in the post no matter what the D).

    Its a skill.

HOW IS THAT A MOTHER****ING FOUL ON YAO!!!!!

yao does nothing, perkins just rams right into him, yao's arms still up straight, and they bail him out ridiculously.

Do I see a trend here

    Sura the PG > > > for T-mac

Barry the PG > > > for Yao.

    crazy world we live in.

Yao may not have done anything... but when he brings his arms down... its so obvious (because he's so big), and I think he compells the refs to call something when he has that downward swinging motion.

    Its dumb... I know.

    what a pass by strickland.

and that may have been the laziest rebounding effort i've ever seen. yao wasn't boxing anyone out and the celtic around him just looked at him and didn't even bother to fight yao for the board. just let him have a free one.

    what a move by yao!

he averages over 7 rebounds a game (already better than any of our 4's)...and in only 27 minutes. not to mension the shot blocking and shooting he brings. he has a history of knee problems but he has played in every game this season. sura he has a long contract but if we want to win now then mo for him would be a good deal. boston would do it too.

boston is actually the best trading partner for us. lafrentz, payton and mccarty would fill in all of our holes. the C's want to get rid of raefs long contract mo would fit right in at the 4. they also want to get rid of mccarty to let some of the younger fowards get more PT, gaines and a future 2nd pick would do it. then GP...this years first and spoons contract get it done....its not perfect, but we will be contenders:

    yao-deke
    raef-Jho-pad
    tmac-mccarty
    wes-barry
    gp-sura

Who says YAO can't dribble drive. That move was hot. If he dunked it it would have been a 10....but I give it a 9

It's nice when Yao has single coverage, and space to work. :)
