I think the Rockets might try to trade their first round pick along with the TE to get help for T-Mac now because of his back spasms.
I don't think they are likely to get a quality player because no one wants to give up value. They are only likely to get offers for moving disgruntled players at this time . I hope they will be patient and wait for the upcoming draft instead.

I think there may be really something factual about Sura not wanting to pass to Yao, he seems reluctant to pass to Yao. Barry seems to look for Yao and I wish he could handle the ball at the point, if JB was at the point I do believe Yao's touches would go up.

For some reason Yao is being called a lot of fouls on his block attempts. But I won't say he doesnt know how to block. After all, he averaged like 6-8 blocks a game playing in CBA.

I'm not one of those that believes that Sura is freezing Yao out but, since it keeps being rehashed around here, I looked for it this game. I didn't count one time Sura threw it to him. I'm not saying he is freezing him out or not, but it was strange since there were times Sura was in trouble with the shot clock running down and had Yao standing no more than 8 feet from him ready to be able to take a decent shot, but instead he threw it out to Howard or whatever. There a couple of times Yao had position in the post only to be looked away by Sura as well. Again, I'm not saying anything is going on, it is just some things a noticed tonight.

I strongly feel sura will end up with the same fate of JJ. Hope I am wrong though.

I understand why you are so careful to talk about Sura, who is now the our golden baby derserving nothing but props. If you dare to critisize him a little bit, a HUGE YOF label is coming :D

You are wrong. I believe I did see a single entry pass from Sura to Yao, who ended up with a dunk. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember seeing any others. :p

Are you people really accusing a player of freezing Yao Ming out? Have you lost your minds, seriously. And also it's incredibly tasteless to rag on the player accused(Sura) considering he shouldn't have played in the game with his finger problem, not to mention his bum knee that he has played with for weeks now.

I was skeptical about signing Sura at the beginning, but he has been a very solid addition this year. He has been vital to the Rockets success. He is far more a part of the solution than a part of the problems the team has. For christ sakes, he has been the 3rd best player on the team this year and has posted near triple double numbers in numerous games.

But yet you people go on believing he is intentionally freezing a player on the team out. Never mind the fact the Rockets are playing solid ball now and he is on a winning team finally. Obviously he wants to jeopardize that by freezing Yao out? Use some brains people, please, for my sake and yours. In the meantime, I'll give the guy his due for playing hurt and becoming a consistent part of what the Rockets can count on night in and night out.

Finally, I'm not saying its good for the TEAM that Yao Ming ever goes scoreless in quarter(like when Boston came back in the 3rd tonight) but to accuse a player of intentionally freezing him out without any legit evidence is beyond pathetic. I didn't see the 3rd quarter tonight so I can't really get into that whole discussion. However, I highly doubt a player who is finally a vital cog in a rotation for a winning team would do anything that would seriously jeopardize his chances of maintaining the recent career success he has achieved. Some of you need a reality check and fast.

Good post -- too many idiots and conspiracy nuts. I don't understand.

Yao was sitting on the bench the whole 3rd quarter b/c he picked up his 4th foul early. He was on fire in the 1st half, but sitting next to Ewing in the 3rd. Yet, people blame Sura for his scoreless 3rd. Sura is far from perfect, but the whole conspiracy crap must end now.

At the risk of being labeled a YOF, I still feel compelled to point out that this same logic could easily have been applied to JJ as well.... But we all know how that story ended, don't we?

for tonights game...the big thing that changed inthe 3rd quarter was that BOS was fronting and tryin much harder to deny Yao position.....I can provide proof of my assertions....most of the ppl b****ing in this thread cant....most of them probably didnt watch the game period.

I posted this in another thread about a POSSIBLE solution to the fronting...

You know if Yao had a Power forward who could throw entry passes like he himself does, teams fronting Yao would be a thing of the past. Yao has thrown some pretty good entry passes to McGrady and other players when they were being fronted and it is a thing of beauty. The reason we need a power forward to deliver the pass is because the PF usually is the one who is coming over to help. If we place McGrady on side and guard on the other side and place the Pf at the top of the key who is going to help? The guards, in that case, if the guards come over, the PF passes to one of the guards who has an open three. Or, he can pass to Yao who takes two steps and has dunk. I don't understand why Yao has to set picks (which eats up like 7 seconds on the shot clock) then posts up. I don't like JVG system. It depends too much on outside shooting. We needs to throw some slashers out there and use Yao's passing ability.

    Now, tell me your opinions...

how many minutes did Yao play in the 3rd?

Couldn't have been much, he picked up the 4th foul pretty early.

I'm not going to label anyone here. That's another stupid and childish phenomenon in here that needs to stop. However, you can't apply that logic to JJ because there is no verifiable proof that was a reason for the trade. It's one thing to say he had trouble feeding Yao in the low post, but to jump to a whole different level of conclusion and say it was intentional, without credible factual evidence supporting your case is not accurate. Therefore his situation has no bearing on the Sura case. And it makes people sticking by those accusations look really silly and tasteless unless new factual evidence appears proving them correct.
