Man, Barry's trade show CD is Genius. IT's Barry won this game for US.
Finally, We have Barry and Padgett can shot 3 points, which will give good space for Yao and Tmac. CD, seek another Cato and smith for us, we are all set.

Probably not a max star. Just somebody solid and young. ;) We can give MoTay's money, instead let that money sit in the dog house.

Well, the Celtics awful first half did them in, but I think they played a decent game despite having no transition offense. Davis abused Wesley... I still think that trading Jim Jackson, an underrated defender with better size than Wesley, was a mistake.

Anyway, just my opinion on the state of the Rockets... the only way to build around T-Mac and Yao, who are about to get massive extensions, is through the draft. And without trade assets, getting the most out of drafts will be very difficult. Their GM has his work cut out for him.

this summer we will have our pick of PG's (assuming that we are willing to give one the full MLE):

jaric, watson, dickau, b.jackson, stoudamire, payton, AD (player option), damon (player option).

i would be thrilled to sign one of the first 3.

in the summer of 2006 we can use the MLE on battie, l.wright, n.mohammed...not great but they will sign for the mle :p and they can all rebound and shoot.

One more thing, Lue for Barry was a great trade... I don't know what Barry has against the Celtics though.

Man, we lucked out tonight. Wesley was 3-11 and cannot stop Ricky Davis to save his ass in the 4th. TMac was ice cold going 5-14. And our starting flower forward was 2-7 from the floor with one wopping board in 23 minutes. Yep, Padgett in the first half, Barry in the 4th quarter saved us. And of course Yao willed us to the win especially with huge buckets in the late 4th quarter.

Not sure whether you guys noticed two plays by Bobby in the late 4th. Yao sealed his man on the strong side and asking for the ball. Sura looked at him and not sure what he could do. TMac raced down to help. Sura passed TMac the ball and Tracy passed Yao in one second. It was too late and Yao had to pass the ball to Barry for a running jumper. Now the next play: Sura dribbled the ball to the FT line with no where to go. Had to shoot an air ball when Yao was lucky enough to get an offensive board.
Man, Sura just does not know how to make entry passes. Most of Yao's points late in the game were from passes by TMac.

We need a 1. I love Sura but we definitely need a natural 1 so we can bring Sura off the bench.

I know I will sound very ignorant by asking ths question. Does an efficiency rating of -1 means it actually hurted us to put a PF on the court and that it would be better for us to go 4 against 5?

No, He has a full MLE type of deal for 3 or 4 more seasons I think.

Barry and Yao wn this game for us.

Pat become consistently good, T-mac is off tonight, it is understandable.

Sura? He always has some very good things mixed with some dumb ass play. He is like a worse sf3.

Look at Howard? 2-7, 1reb, 1foul??? He just exposes our center to the offense and has no effort to contribute! Hates it!!

good points. I am also concerned about Howard's defense. As a PF, he only got 1 foul, while YM got 5. Does howard really have a mind to defense and protect his Center?

When Barry, Yao and Paj play together, chemistry is much better. Maybe we should let Yao come out from the bench to play those two?

Our weaknesses are going to haunt us if we don't start getting consistent effort on rebounding, defense and shooting.

There is a reason JH is called a flower forward. When your offense sucks, at least you need to TRY to play some hard nosed D on your man. And yet he constantly got lost on defending LaFrentz and helped Celtics in getting Yao in foul trouble.

I am not sure how you guys feel about JH. I mean he is playing for us and has had several good games this season......yet watching him play most of the time is really DISGUSTING. If you cannot even have a decent game against LaFrentz, I am not sure what you are doing on the court.
