Can't wait to watch our game against Orlando. Our team has played extremely well the past 6 games and if we can win our next 2 then were back to .500. I don't know what deal is with TMac (if were trading him or keeping him) but whatever happens can only help us since our team has finally gelled and ready to make a run after 32 games. With 50 games remaining and a softer schedule we could go 35-15 and finish with a record of 50-32.

Agree. You have to take a look at what kind of loss. Although we lost, we did show quite some hope. Compared with the game a couple of weeks ago (like those vs. 76ers), we are much improved now.

that, and quite a few defensive fouls on yao got uncalled. and of course a big flop which added to yao's fouls and turnovers.

need to see both sides, buddy.

What do you mean by "playing small on offense"? KG has mastered the mid-range jumpshot, and I don't see how Yao is supposed to stop that. It's Carlos Boozer in the playoffs all over again. Unstoppable for a player as slow as Yao.

This game was not that bad.. KG was just hot in the 4th and that killed us. You really have to hand it to the team for at least clawing their way back to game from a 20-point deficit.

Oh and I hope Rafer continues to keep up and not start sucking once Tmac comes back. GO ROX! I still believe!

Man, if you have watched enough Timberwolves' game before, you will know that at the end of the game KG usually shy away from taking the cluth shot. I havce seen it quite some time.

I don't think his heart or passion is bigger than Yao's.

yao avg'd something like 25/10 in the utah series. "got owned by okur"? maybe he'd go 50/20 for you to say otherwise.

and what was kg's stats in last year's playoffs? geez, why can't i find them? hmmm... maybe his team was even in it?

and what'd you say if that big dunk was from kg to yao?

no offense. but get educated, pls.

"Small" as in not like a conventional PF who backs you down and has limited shooting range. KG plays more like a SF, he has the quickness to get by Yao and the midrange shot you mentioned. Yao is better suited to handle low post scorers.

I think RA wants to bet on 3 at end of 4th, but our "shooter" can't deliver...

I felt no one dared to shoot except Battier.... well, for him ,sorry, Battier, you suck today...

if we have to blame someone or something for tonight's loss, i can think of the following -

#1, yao had a terrible shooting night. 2-11 in the first half and ended up with 7-20. had he hit those single covered shots early on, the game might've been different. other than that, he did just fine (rebounded fairly well and gave polard and perkins a total of 10 fouls). not great, but sorta ho-hum. i'd give him a pass for this one as he's still sneezing on tv and obviously recovering from the flu.

#2, adelman's late 4th-quarter sub decisions; particularly, keeping head in the game proven cost us big (a crucial turnover and giving up reb). it's more on adelman than on head.

other than those, i really can't fault the team too much. they fought out of a huge hole and actually won 3 out of 4 quarters of the game.

and i actually see quite a bit of growth in this team lately, in terms of chemistry and cohesiveness. maybe it's just me. we shall see...

btw, the reffing on yao is getting worse lately.

don't quite understand what you meant there. just to make things clear, i'm a former athlete in college and have closely followed the rockets and the nba since hakeem's rookie year.

please tell me str8 like a man where i've done improperly on this board as a "rookie", would you?

Was there ever such a trade possibility? Sounds more like wishful thinking to me.
