Just one pick about Brooks. He should shoot better from outside.

Because the one time Yao tried on KG, KG flopped and drew a foul?

Will the coach ever figure out a rotation? I mean it is different players at different minutes everynight. Brooks doesnt play the entire second half of the Golden State game. Bonzi doesnt start the second half? No Scola are Brooks in the final 4 minutes? I mean he should have figured this out by now.

    1st quarter: HOU 16, BOS 30
    2nd quarter: HOU 26, BOS 23
    3rd quarter: HOU 26, BOS 23
    4th quarter: HOU 25, BOS 21

We outscored them the last three quarters, and still found a way to lose the game.

Moral of the story: don't get off to bad starts. Play 48 minutes.

    Warriors game: horrible 4th quarter
    Celtics game: horrible 1st quarter

When are we going to play with the right intensity for 48 minutes?

An average team will not have a so called talented player who's always down the court! As this game, just a few mistakes and KG lead the Bos to win. We still have the good team. Believe in RA and trade Mcgrady for someone like Bonzi.

Oh well, could someone make Yao's dunk on KG into a .gif so I can look at it over and over again? :D

Still pissed we choked away this game, but that's the one positive I can draw on.

    Ray + Pierce > 100lbs. So not a blowout = KG/R/P are soso.

Make no mistake. We did not choke this game away.

We played the best we could. Mistakes (like the 6 Luther made in the last few minutes) are part of the game. Both teams made mistakes. The better team overcame their mistakes and won.

The Rockets should feel great about their effort but they are not even in the same stratoshphere as this Celtics team.

Well, the Rockets did play with the right intensity throughout the game. It was just some pieces of bad coaching, as far as I saw it.

WHY the hell a head coach did not call a time-out when your opponents got on a 13 ~ 0 run in 1Q? That big black hole of 1Q proved to be pretty difficult to climb out of.

WHY sit Big Yao that long in 4Q when the 2 big men that had been haunting/shovelling/pushing him had been fouled out?

WHY he had to use Luther Head for that last 3/4 minutes was beyond me. For his 3-pointers? Why not Steve Novak? For his ball handling? Why not Aaron Brooks?

Anyway, as I've said, win or lose, just proud of these Rockets who demonstrated full passion, intensity, energy, never-give-up fighting spirit and most importantly heart against the hottest and most winning NBA team after falling close to 20 points somewhere in first half.

Yes on the first point in red

second point in blue:....., if the celts are as good as you and everyone else says and the roxs are as bad as many believe, then why didn't they blow the MAC-LESS Rockets out like they did to the recently surging Lakers?

People need to understand this about Kevin Garnett.

No one guards Yao on the Celtics better than KG. The reason why Perkins and Pollard were guarding him is obvious. What happened to them? THEY FOULED OUT. If you're the Celtics, do you want to put KG on Yao and risk getting him in foul trouble?

So yes, Perkins/Pollard fouling out at the end was a blessing in disguise for them, because that allows KG to guard Yao, and no one guards Yao better than KG. If KG gets in foul trouble, who cares? It's the 4th quarter.

But if someone says that Yao was ineffective against small players, that's simply ridiculous. 6'11" Kevin Garnett is not small and is the best post defender on their team.

we should of traded yao for kg when we had the chance....kg's fire and passion would of uplifted this team. yao is such a liability

KG won't be as effective at shutting Yao down if MAC is in the game.
