He is right though, I was really hoping yao could come out and dominate a good team. When is the last time yao scored 40? Other than getting the ball right under the basket for a dunk he is virtually useless. When his shots ain't falling he really has no other game to bring except a pass every now and than. People claim this Yao's team and how we should trade Tmac but... Yao has no greater time than now to show he can dominate... and guess what it's not happening.

Actually thats more due to the high post offense. Yao shooting long jumpers does not equal good FG%. Just look at his stats last year.

beautiful excuse as always, but it can not explain his taking jumpers, fadeaways instead of passing them out.

 There's the genius coach starting the same freaking lineup that started the game again! Freaking nut case!

How come he didn't start AB, Luther, Bonzi, Scola and Yao? that would have been better with Rafer, MJ, Battier and Chuck coming off the bench!

The only difference between a reason and an excuse is semantics. Going by your logic, Garnett in Minnesota sucks because he didn't make the playoffs multiple years in a row. Any defense of him is an excuse for his suckage.

Yes Pryuen but there's no excuse for his shot selection. He needs to get closer to the basket.

I'm guessing the game strategy was to establish him early.

Pierce is an excellent flopper. He gets to the line consistently.
