Francis 4 assists and 7 turnovers so far. Disgusting performance. I had to look it up after those two TOs. The guy is capable of creating momentum when he's on, but he absolutely kills it with his lazy play.

Well, Stevie's stats are so far supporting you: 4 assists and 7 turnovers.

The thing about it is, the previous game against Boston Francis had 7 turnovers which ultimatly cost us the game. Now I know why JVG points that out even after wins. And the other thing about it is is that whenever the Rockets get a lead, Francis, and Mobley to a lesser extent, seem to think this is football and their Eddie George out there working some clock managment by holding the ball the entire possession and this is when theres still a quarter and a half to play.

Boston announcers are really high on Yao. Tommy just said Yao will be a GREAT GREAT player if ball is going to him.

Unfortunately we need a better point guard.

Yao Ming is done for the day: 21 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks.

This is what I would expect Yao day-in and day-out. Would you think anyone would even mention trading Yao if he did this every game? Even if someone would it would probably talking about trading Yao for Tim.

That first half with all the cutting and moving and passing was fun to watch. Too bad we got such a comfortable lead in the middle of the third and all that had to come to a stop. Good win though. But damn Steve is going to have to play alot better if we're going to win against Minnesota Saturday.

If Yao gives this kind of performance on a daily basis, Houston would be a top 3 team in the West and Yao would be league MVP.

I am very very disappointed by Steve's play tonight. WTF with all the stupid TOs which led to layups by opposing teams? And he, along with Cat, held the ball way too long in their hands after we got the big lead.

Yeah he never really had much of a shot at padding them during the important parts of the game. I don't particuarly care though. He opened up the perimeter buckets for us and gave great inside presence. I don't like it when we dribble the ball down til there's 10 seconds left on the clock and finally run a play. Yao did his part, Mobley did his, Padgett stepped up, and Wilks actually extended the lead when he was out there again. He's a real speed demon. Only dissapointment was Francis but the outcome was a win so one bad performance from him didn't cost us the game this time thankfully. We'll need him at his best if we're going to beat Minny at home since it doesn't appear he's going to be shopped anytime soon. We're stuck with him, and if he could just learn to play smarter ball and we could get the most out of his game on a consistent basis no one here would be talking about trading him. It just seems like he'll have a great game once out of every 10 games and have 9 mediocre or subpar games after that. Not enough consistency out of him.
