He's not overrated, it's just that he's not a poing guard.

It's not so much being wound up, but you figure when one of your players is having one of his best games and performances that the lead would be bigger then what it is. And it could of atleast been an 8 to 10 point lead if it wasn't for the poor execution in the final minute. Actually the final 2 minutes were nothing really to be proud of, but the final minute is crucial always. They could of had atleast gone 2 for 1 and had opportunities to take better shots then they did, but Francis didn't manage the clock well enough to do that and made some bad mental mistakes throughout the half. Those kind of mistakes can prove costly in the second half. But your right there are positives to be proud of. They're passing to Yao at the right moment like we've all wanted them to, and in some possessions look like the Kings in the passing game. Well maybe not the Kings, but atleast Utah passing like :D

The question I ask is whether or not Steve is the type of player to have the ball in his hand almost the whole time. He's not like Bibby, Steve Nash, or Tony Parker who are champion-caliber point guards who can control their emotions on the court. Steve can be a fiery player in a position that does not dominate the ball handling, but he can and will be a liability if opposing coaches exploit this handicap.

Here's some interesting conversation in the chat:

I was joking Yao is done for the night since he's got his 19 points in the half already. Some R2K jerk jump in and comment I don't need to be there since all I care was Yao anyway. and Yao-only-fan, blah, blah, blah...

Then I got booted for calling that full of shiiiit.

    Really sad.

I hate to say it but Mo Taylor may need to start with Yao. This game gives a good example as to how a power forward with the ability to score can really loosen up defenses that are geared to stop Yao.

Sooner or later, there will be more freedom of speech in China than in the US.

Already it's easier to fly in and out of China without they even give you a second look at the gate.

Probably true. With Cato in there, every team knows not to guard him cause he can't shoot, so rox play 4 on 5 on offense.

    This one is right:
If Yao is outperformed by someone at the first meeting, he will bounce back and outperform the opponent in the next meeting.

Padgette is not the PF answer. I can't understand why he's still out there.

Yao looks either injured or exhausted after that last shot attempt. I hope it's more along the lines of exhaustion although naturally I'd prefer neither. It's nice to see everyone on the team step up their perimeter game. Padgett, Mobley, and JJ all nailing their open 3s. Padgett's providing hustle, and is a nice player coming off the bench even if he is starting tonight :D

hooroo Cato's injured. He sprained his foot according to the Celts commentators.
