Ladies and gentlemen the Houston Rockets have figured out how to pass the ball into Yao when he's got good position. He's killing the Celts out there.

WOW, Yao has 17pts and 7 rebounds on 8-9 shooting! I cant see the game, what the hell is going on?

Is Cato out because he is hurt or because of matchup problems.

Nachbar is getting minutes? At the expense of Pike? Interesting!

 

Damn I may of spoken too soon. Following play after I post they figured out how to pass to Yao, Mobley fails to dump the ball inside to him and is trapped baseline for a turnover.

 

Yao-Za !! yao is having a monster game, lets see if you can get a double double by half time!! =)

 

Yao is playing that he is against the Koreans or the Japanese national team.

Kudo to JVG to make changes. The team moves the ball great, and Yao is killing the Celtics from inside/outside.

I have not seen him making so many dunks since the finals in the Asian championship game.

 

He had 17 before the first half ends, man!!

 

Clearly the Rockets have made adjustments from the previous Boston game. I cant see the game. What are they doing differently in this game?

 

They just know how to passed the ball to ming when he had good position. Give the credits to cat today. Suddenlly he knows Giving the ball to ming makes the team win

Man Francis really gets under my skin. He dribbled out two possessions during the final minutes of the first half. One he dribbled so long that he finally broke down his defender drove in the lane and couldn't find the shot in midair so you guessed it, he kicks out to Boki with few seconds left on the shot clock and left him to try and create a bucket. The result was a fastbreak mid ranger jumper for the Celts. Next possession, Francis talks to JJ for a couple of seconds instead of rushing the ball up the court and jacks up a bad 3 pointer because of his poor clock management and inability to get into a play fast enough. Then his temper tantrum that resulted in an offensive foul, and his technical for getting pissed he couldn't shake one of the Celts defenders that was guarding him. The dude is baited too easily in the mental game and doesn't run plays fast enough. And despite Yao Mings great performance tonight, when the Rockets need buckets in some of the most important times of the game like the final minute, Francis bails on them and tries to put up a flashy show. The man is too immature to lead this team.

 

They are starting Padgett instead of Cato so that the Celtics has to respect his shot. And the Rockets used Yao in the high post at the beginning of the game. After yao made his first two 19-22 footers, the Celtics had to come out and guard him.

Then our guard somehow began to penetrate and also seemed to suddenly know how to make passes over fronting defenders. Then it's all over.

It's remarkable that Yao was 9-10 from the field. Even 9-10 from guarded layups are remarkable.

Hopefully JVG can keep making adjustments to fully utilize Yao's game. And certainly Yao's super aggressiveness in the first half helped.

 

but 7 rbs at half time is an OK performance. 19pts in 19mins is nice though.

 

I guess nothing is for sure in this world ... including Yao's bad game following a good game ...

He got 19 points and 7 rebounds at half time playing only 17 minutes - his regular playing time.

Since Since Cato is not available, Yao will have to play more minutes in the second half than usual though.

 

Another thing I forgot to mention is Mobley needs to stop trying to split defenders that trap him. He turns the ball over too much doing that. Play smart ball.

 

How to make Yaoming dominate? This first half is the right answer. The key? move the the ball around and play team basketball. You don't even to pass the ball intentionally to Yao, just move, run and find the open man.

So simple!!!!!!

he makes me angry to; ill say it again trade him; everyone can bash me all they want but francis is just overated.
