I just want to see Cat play less than 40min to avoid fatigue.
He's getting way too many minutes...

Rockets exact a little revenge tonight. They used last night as practice for when Yao gets fronted. It just means the open man has to make the shot. If that's happening, they will have to back off of Yao, leaving him for some easy points.

    92-75 Rockets win!

I hope the Rockets keep playing decisive as they did in the 3rd quarter against Washington.

When Yao was doubled in the post before he got the ball, MoT cut hard toward the FT circle. When his man followed him, the ball was fed to Yao quickly. When his man slowed, the ball was dished to MoT for open 15 ft J. Money in the bank.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Rockets ARE an Eastern Conference team.

I don't know why JVG is hating on Boki.
I expect a boki's breakout game if jvg would just play him.
yeah... I'm a boki only fan.. and what..

    rox win
the start of a winning streak

question: is it possilbe to cheer for the team but wish JJ does bad... cuz I am in a intense head-to-head fantasy league and JJ is on the other team.. he is killing me.

Not predicting the outcome of the game at all. They're too inconsistent to give an accurate description. I hope they do well though and most of all show consistent significant improvement in every facet of the game.

I think JVG is making adjustments like having Cato to help feed the ball to Yao (laterally) or to other post players ..

Its hard to feed Yao the ball so we feed it Cato who might have an easier time feeding Yao. Boston's defense didnt seem that great except for sagging on Yao and daring the shooters to make their shots. I wish we would take a step closer and make more midrange jumpers and drive into the lanes.

for some reason we as a team are not getting to the FT line enough this season. I hope we attack attack attack the basket..

I'm not talking about years past. I'm talking about this season.

But if you want to look at a little history, in 2000-01, the Rockets were 25-5 against Eastern opponents. Since then, they've gotten more talented, and the east has gotten worse. At this point, if the Rockets are swept by any eastern team, then it shows that they're just not trying hard enough.

After missing the playoffs four straight years, the Rockets should pounce on these pathetic teams and fatten up in the win column. So far, it's not happening.

Actually, I think they do have a fat record vs. the East this year as well....

That 11-4 record includes two home losses and is only on pace for a 22-8 record. That's hardly the 25-5 dominance the Rockets displayed a few seasons ago- you know, when they swept an ENTIRE DIVISION! I'm not impressed.
