    landry's a freaking monster!!

haha shouldn't have gotten that tech IMO... he was just being excited like a rookie.

great job by scola wells and alston today.

tmac and yao struggling with the ball but at least we know where to go now if they're both off!!

I thought this was overall a good game. We won with relative ease. Compared to our Kings game, which was like a root canal, this was a walk in a park.

We've never won that type of game before against an above .500 team... no less on the road.

Even if it has been an ugly game, I like all the Rockets wins! I tought it would be more difficult onestly, but outside of LeBron the cavs are nothing...

Yao and Tracy were horrible offensively but they did other things to help the team. Yao with his rebounding and free-throws, and Tracy with his passing. Rafer and Scola were big for us. I'm glad they both had their shots going.

lol it seems like the role players step up right around the trade deadline every year, making the rockets hesitate to trade anyone b/c they don't want to ruin the "chemistry" :p

The announcers made a great observation, saying that during timeouts the Rockets were yelling at each other and chest bumping and firing themselves up. That they were energetic and in the game. Great sign for our playoff push!

I would like to point out an important fact that has been overlooked quite alot in the rox.

    McGrady 8 Assists
    Rafer 6 Assists
    Yao 3 Assists

and in the notable column for the Cavs ....................... 11 assist by lebron

    and thats about it.

We do have a luxury of having effectively two passing men and facilitating the offence. I believe we are unique in the league with two guys averaging over 6 assists? I bet you Lebron would kill to have a guy who can start the offence for him like Rafer.

Most notable thing about tonight's game.... Big Z executed the worst-looking flop that I have EVER seen.

Rafer has been absolutely out-of-his-mind incredible lately. Mad props to a guy I didn't think had this kind of basketball play in him.

P.S. For those that didn't watch the game, Scola was much, much better than 15 points, 8 rebounds. He took over in the 3rd quarter while our offense was stagnant and basically set us up for the finishing run that we went on.

Game ball: tied between Rafer and Scola

Yep, T-Mac contributed 8 assists and Yao 14 boards. That's what you do when you're having an off-night, build up your teammates.
