ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Cavaliers 12/15/2021

I didn't catch the game, but by the box score it looks like the only reason we lost was because of 3 pt shots. If we had shot at 45% like they did we would have won 128-124. They didn't kill us by rebounds, pts in the paint, or free throws.

Looks like our bench played better than the starting lineup once again.

Well the turnovers were close as well. Nobody is going to win a game shooting 17% from the 3pt line with the other team shooting 45%. Nobody. Sounds like our defense around the arc was simply not good, or they just hit a hot lucky streak on their 3 pointers.

 

Oh I never judged the OKC 73 game, others did it for me.

 

Sheesh what a stinker. Sengun was the only decent player last night. Sorely missed Wood and Splash in the lineup. SMH on to the next one.

 

lol i dont need a freaking stat to tell me sengun is top 2 defender on this team...i really like analytics but people going overboard with the stats

 

but theres a reason people go on hot streak eg when you start the shitty lineup you give headstart, space and confidence to other teams and theres no getting back from that... thats one of the reasons why its so important who starts...

also to give your own guys a decent start and chance to get hot...sengun always enters game when they down the hole by a dozen points...and then players dont play tru him because hes not a starter and they dont respect him because coaches putting him like that....

also its hard to play consistently good when you are punished or not rewarded for the good play....
its understandable mathews didnt shoot well when he heard green is coming back and will take his spot in rotation...
