LOL thinking Rockets had turned to corner enough for CP3 to rest.. Rockets are not there yet..

 

This is still the worst loss of the season

I can't believe we lost to a team who's tanking for Zion

 

We don’t even have the easiest thing to find for our system, which is a serviceable back up center. There are literally so many back up veteran centers that are playing for vet minimums and rockets couldn’t get one? Or was hoping nene would come back while we are struggling to stay at .500 20 games in the season with players playing 40+ minutes our strategy?? Sign a free agent temporary and release them if nene ever comes back I guess, u only pay pro rated anyway, it’s really confusing. We must be really hated if no one would sign with us.

 

I also was mad at his careless passing.

But overall this game he did his job.

 

I guess that we switch everything on defense to prepare against the warriors. But what good is it if we won’t play against them if we keep playing this way. All that switch just create mismatches and havoc for us.

And you can always see when we are going to lose a game. If Harden shut himself down. Just dribble dribble and thinks he will make all those 3s doing nothing but that and missing the easy lay ups. But it’s all on his attitude, idk instead of letting all those calls against us ignite him or trying to do better he does the opposite. He does this all the time. If he got called for stepping inside on a ft instead of trying to change it he does it again. Same on offensive fouls. Yea they called a bad push or a flop but he does it again so they can call it again.

He needs to be smarter, i remember even if I hated Derek Fisher, Bruce Bowen or manu they would get a called even if it was a flop but most of the time They would get an offensive foul in their favor or do something to get that possession back. Or like Cp3 even if he doesn’t do it all the time just gets a call on ur favor or do like Kobe go in get foul or you foul but foul hard. Show some passion get a tech push someone. Just stop showing that face like u don’t care or like you have another gear. I know he showned that super sayajin stuff but barely does he do it.

I’m just disappointed on how we playing. We lost to the Cavs. We could have won last night too and yea a lot of because the refs are rigging the game against us but the team doesn’t show any heart.
I was excited about this season but like many of us we’ve been left a bit disappointed.
And with the drama on the warriors this was our season and if we don’t focus we might let someone else just take it

 

I would agree with u had it been any other game this season, he has done his job, but I don’t think this game he did, because his defense was also disgusting (last game it was only a few plays, but this game it was almost the whole game)..granted no one else really played impressive defense, but his was by far the worst, he wasn’t even trying. There is always the fact that he literally has to do everything on offense, so I know he was tired, it’s on MDA. In the beginning, our offense was so smooth with MDA, now besides a few plays, it’s basically the Mchale and JB offense

 

Well, we shot the ball well. Including Gordon.

But, we gotta get some rebounding help for Capela. He can't do it all by himself.

And there must be some kind of serviceable backup point guard playing somewhere in the world that Morey could add for the remainder of the season. It feels like an automatic loss when either Harden or Paul are out.

 

Stupid cp3 needs $40m and rest!

I agree with you on most of parts. But I never expect Harden could play tough defense plus 40+ pts, just like Lebron did in playoffs. Of course I hope he can make it, but his limitation is there. Harden has strong body, but still not like the beast as Lebron.

 

Man if we were like 13-4 then it would be like ok whatever but we are freaking 9-9, mess around and u will be battling for a playoff spot

 

The West is on fire and the Rockets have a string of bad opponents. They are f-cking around like they are good.

 

This stupid team actually thought they could win w/o CP3. Idiots.

 

Yea exactly they came to this game like they had the W, like if they Cavs would let us walk in and get an easy win. That attitude always kills us and is so annoying to watch us play like that.

The sad part about it is that with other teams you would expect them to wake up or play better but I’m sure this will happen again. We will play like trash against a lottery team however, we might be one of those lottery teams too if we keep playing this way.

 

last nite's loss had silver's fingerprints all over it. tonite's had morey's.

 

He has the talent of Lebron (maybe slightly less but not a noticeable difference), and the basketball IQ of Lebron (probably slightly better IQ than Lebron), but he doesn’t have near the work ethic, will, and effort of Lebron which makes Lebron the much better player. This is why people get frustrated with him, because people see the talent, they know he can do it, we know he can play defense, but he doesn’t have the stamina. He works pretty hard most days, in games, he is unique. With all that said, there’s literally no one in the league that I would take over him besides Lebron. Maybe Leonard if it was for playoffs only, but at least for regular season, he can literally take any team to playoffs, no one else but Lebron can do that. Although this could be our problem, because of him carrying the team, when we get to playoffs, if he plays poorly or folds under pressure, which he has mostly done in playoffs, then we are screwed because that’s what we have done all season. This is why Lebron’s cleveland got swept by spurs in finals, he was struggling and they didn’t have a plan B. Sometimes the other team is so good that even if you play great, like last year Lebron against warriors, u get swept....anyways the morale of the story is that harden has shown he can be as good as Lebron, and elite on both ends, he just doesn’t do it all the time. But I don’t know if you can complain much about it because any time u complain, u gotta propose a solution, and question is other than Lebron, who would u replace harden with?? My answer is no one. So u roll with it hoping to put the right pieces around, and last year we were oh so close, but it wasn’t enough.

 

The Rockets are on the list of bad teams
