I know I'm a bit late to say this but James is really good. At first I thought the hype wasn't justified considering he hasn't lead his team to the playoffs despite having a good team around him last year, but he's really developed a lot. Inredible court vision and his perimeter game is outstanding. I swear he's watched a few Dream tapes with those baseline fadeaways shooting behind the backboard.

FINALLY a freakin' loose ball foul on Big Z, he gave the refs little choice but to call it that time, otherwise they would've likely just let it go.

Got to give it up for the Rockets tonight ... they took a great game from LeBron James and kept plugging along. McGrady missed those free throws, but he showed why he's Mr. Balls down the stretch. Juwan from 16-17 feet was au-to-ma-tic tonight it seemed as well.

That's the thing about JHo: at the end of games, he's one of the best players to have on the court, because he rarely makes mistakes, knows his role and plays it very well, and when he's making that mid-range shot consistently, his pick and roll with McGrady is deadly; JHo is a an excellent part of the 'closer unit' on this team.

BTW, I think McGrady is averaging around 35ppg in the past 4 games, I didn't notice that until now.

Was any one else as annoyed with Steve Kerr as much as I was? I mean, he was more annoying than usual tonite, doing his usual rockets bashing. Just something that stuck out to me tonite. Great win!

    Damon Jones+Donyell Marshall: 4-19 3's

They sucked hard. They were brought in to be sharpshooters and were pursued by the Rockets. Juwan and Rafer played very well, Rockets did just enough to keep them from getting a tie every run.

As they showed Lebron and T-Mac's exchange after the game Lebron told T-Mac "Great game man i'll see you at the all star"
By the game....the guys in the studio need to atleast recognize that the rockets have been the most battered team injury wise in the league...not once in their broadcast did those guys mention it. Its ok because if we get healthy and roll off long winning streaks they'll get back to kissing our asses again

good rocket news all around tonight.

During Marc Bermans interview with Yao, Yao said he'll be back on the court before the end of the month, or in about 2-3 weeks.

Not really, he didn't bash the Rockets at all, not sure what you're talking about. It seems more like that a lot of people here on the board dislike him as a Spur so they perceive everything he says as a 'diss' to the Rockets; if anything he was praising McGrady and the way the team played this game throughout. I like Kerr as a color guy, he's funny and entertaining alongside Marv, an excellent combo IMO.

The one that really bothers me at times is Kenny Smith. He's such a sellout. At times I feel as if he's afraid of being labeled a 'homer' so he goes along with a lot of the nonsense Charles spews; it's easy to let the Chuksta slide because he doesn't know any better and is a career 'hata' as some would say, but Kenny tries too hard to sound 'philosophical' and says crap like, "The Rockets aren't a defensive team, they just slow it down'. Oh really? Is that why we are consistently one of the top filed-goal defensive teams?

'The Jet' is a bona fide idiot, he's the only one that irritates me on that whole TNT crew.

I'm very pleased with Skip. He is doing a great job. I hope Swift will do better in next few days. Howard was excellent but we can't expect him to be successful every night.
It was fun to see us win down the stretch for once.
