The Rockets are a work in progress, expect off season changes, expect this team (if they stay healthy) to be better next season. The improvements will result in fewer blowouts and deeper playoff runs. Expect more improvement the season after that. It sucks that the Rockets probably aren't going to catch the Spurs, but a top four seed is still gettable. After that, a hard fought second round series, after that, gravy.
I have no problem with McHale as a player, he's a legend. But he's a players' coach. He's not tough enough on them and make them play tough. You can say it's players' fault, but what use of a coach if he can't make the players play tough and give efforts? Especially with a coach like McHale who's not famous for his plays, but his leadership
Why risk injury in a blowout game? I'd rather have Canaan shooting 3 or D-mo practicing his post-up game at this point.
this team had no fight at all tonight, like they expected the win to be handed to them... only bright spot was lin. smh
it's over. this game yet again raised the good question to the team's system: when your flawed "superstar" got stopped by elite defense and 3's not falling, what's your answer? clearly Mchale doesnt have one yet so far in the regular season.
He has an escalator in his contract. He gets an extra million if he is a first team all league center. He's padding his stats against our clean up crew
