The Rondo at 100% definitely would but we are either hyped up on Parsons or have other plans in general.

Lin shut down Parker pretty good and always plays well against decent pgs and Barkley don't give him credit. Bev needs to chill out more often.. cuz now he's playing too passive.. wth.

I know that, I saw it. However, I would rather have Noah shoot over Beverley than Hinrich shoot a wide open three. That's just one play though, our defense sucked the entire first half.

I actually don't think so, or at least not more than if T Jones or CP25 were on them. I remember Ariza tried to post up against Lin and failed each time.

harden would then need to develop his game to shooting off the dribble and running off screens. Everything cant be a 3pointer or driving from top of the key. That doesn't work against every team as seen here tonight.

the problem with the no midrange shooting strategy is this...

if the paint is packed and there isn't a good shooter with a good shot on the three point line...

then isn't a wide open midrange shot a higher percentage shot at this point.

Seems like the Morey strategy forces the team into some low percentage inside/outside shots and turnovers sometimes.

Then again... I haven't done a crazy in depth statistical analysis or anything.

I didn't start a thread on it and stop kidding yourself. I have explained the reasoning behind it many times, the fact that you still sit behind this approach to the game is insane.

Bev was on Noah so Lin went to help and left hinrich wide open

Bev is just playing bad Defensively

I have been recording defensive performances by the Rockets. Will probably post a thread after the game with the results.

It will be interesting to see any adjustments they make to deal with Lin in the 2nd half...

How many kicks in the ass do we need before we start taking every game seriously? Like the championship hangs in the balance?
Tired of the lack of hustle and grit.

They are missing open shots tonight just like against OKC. They are in a shooting funk and it happens to all teams. They have been on a massive tear for 2.5 months.

It's not even something that needs to be explained....it's so fundamental to anybody that has ever played the game. The fact that some posters on here still don't get it is troubling.
