I live in Chicago, and while not a Bulls fans I have watched many Bulls games.

I think most people on this board don't realize that the Bulls play better defense than the Rockets now. (They lead the league in opponents FG%, even lower than the Spurs).

Things I'd look for this game:

    1. Hinrich will D up Mike James hard. I haven't seen enough of James to know how he can handle this.

    2. Curry will make Yao look like a rebounding God.

    3. It'll be ugly. The Bulls make a ton of turnovers, so the Rockets need to get the turnovers and convert, and not turnover themselves.

    4. Watch Ben Gordon in the 4th quarter. The kid is scary good on offense, but he couldn't guard Rod Strickland.

I'll give the Rockets the nod to win: 87-83.

Bulls fan here, we match up terribly with the Rockets, but don't expect a blowout. The kids keep working and working, they don't take possessions off (in spite of their 92 turnovers per game), so expect things to be dicey until the end.

It would be a very tough one but with Rox win 89:85
Yao will score around 20 and grab 12 borads.

There's a better chance of Yao grabbing 5 rebounds in a 32-point win.

    Rockets 110
    Bulls 78

If records can speak volume, we are 8 games above .500 in the West and you are what? barely .500 in the least.

If five games over .500 is "barely," then Phoenix is "barely" .700.

The baby bulls are playing great basketball. We should have beaten the jazz because a win in Chicago in definitely not a given.

Just curious, but if you're a Bulls fan, why post over 1200 times on the Rox board? I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just honestly very curious.

He works for Sports Illustrated, I think he just likes to do his homework and the NBA in general...

Thanks! Any chance of finding out why the World Cup was on the cover when Houston won the Championship in 1994.

That chapped a lot of asses around here. So for the second championship, SI put out a really nice one with "Twice is Nice" on the cover and a lot of great Rockets coverage. I still have it in a plastic bag in a box in storage.

Storage? Frame it and hang it on the wall. :D

I've got a huge Miller Light - Rockets World Champions banner that hangs in our spare bedroom (office). Needless to say it doesn't impress my wife very much :( but at least it's still up. If it was my call, it's be hanging in the living room. ;)

and he does a good enough job, in his article of ways to improve all the teams he didn't say anything completely idiotic about the rox unlike half the duds on espn.

Mark another one for the "great wall".

Deng gets hurt running into him (and Yao didn't flinch).
