excellent play all around - Parsons had a extremely quiet good game hitting some big shots in the 4th when the Bulls could have made it interesting.

Hopefully they carry this momentum into tomorrow's game against the Wolves.


Right now the big glaring hole is the starting PF (I like Morris a lot but I think he is a great guy off the bench) and having another bench swing guy at the sg/sf spot to give Harden a bit more of a breather at times.


I am hoping Jones and Dmo can become that starter at PF but I think they have some ways to go hopefully they have the same sort of progession Morris had.

I cant say enough how impressed I am with Morris this year after all he went through last season.

 

That's true I like Morris at the 4 way more than Patterson Morris game is just overall better than Patterson IMO

I'll give Bill a pass on this one, he predicted after the Harden trade the Rockets would make the playoffs... against vocal opposition.

 

All we need to do is get a bigtime power forward like Kevin Love or LaMarcus Aldridge.

 

My entire family watched the Rockets game tonight since we were just chillin and the game was on espn. My sister saw Parsons for the first time tonight and was crushing on him big time. She then proceeded to look him up on google and now wants to buy his jersey LOL

 

Great game, was there, seemed like the rockets hit everything!

 

To promote the team through Parsons, they need to negotiate for HOU games shown on the Disney Channel instead of ESPN.

 

Since Morris can shoot better from the 3pt line, it gives more space for everyone else to drive to the basket. Tomorrow its Love and Peković...we'll see how that will work....if Rockets win, 2pat won't be a starter once he heals.

 

These wins have a lot more to do with Morris's 41% 3 point shooting and Lins increased aggressiveness.

After tearing up two of the leagues top 3 defenses, im a believer in this team making the playoffs.

 

Morris can guard Love's perimeter game, but can he bang with him in the paint? I think he's going to get severely outrebounded. The question is whether Asik can dominate Pekovic enough to make up for it.

But I think we have a big advantage in the back court, so we don't necessarily have to win the frontcourt matchups... we just need to keep it close.

 

WTF does DMo need to do to earn more minutes. smh.

 

It's a combination of factors in my opinion. But I think the biggest thing is that they've had a an opportunity to practice and play together for a little while. There are going to be some tough times ahead in the coming months for sure, because we are still very young and other teams we make adjustments to slow us down. But, I think we can all see what direction McHale is taking this team. We can see that Lin and Harden can play together and both do well. I would like to get PPat back, he can still help us. I don't know if PPat should be starting, but he can still contribute.

 

30 minutes for rockets feedback on the radio. jesus, the matts just mail it in.

 

Better rebounding and D and/or more consistency on his three point shot.

Right now Morris spaces the floor better and there isn't enough of a gap (if any) in defense and boards to make up for it.

 

Considering that we are winning big, I don't see why the rush to push him out there. He will get his minutes eventually, just have to be patient.

I keep on trying to keep my expectations for the team low, to be fair to them. Because they are young, have only played together 2 months, blah, blah. And then they pull stuff like this.

Great great win. Love it that Omer had such a fantastic game too.
