They are actually in contention for top 2 seed in the West which is insane.

OKC was invincible but Chet injury gonna make them bad. PHX had the perfect offseason but KD injury gonna make them bad. Lakers are 100% dependent on AD health lol. Wolves destroyed their team with Randle and Donte. Dallas destroyed their team with Klay. Nuggets are being solo carried by Jokic.

That just leaves GSW as the only team with better depth than Rockets imo. They have capital to last a season and weather thru injuries to key players just like the Rockets.

In 3 yrs Stone made a younger and better version of the 2018 Rockets IMO. We arent dependent on a single person to be the guy every night but rather function more like a Hydra with multiple heads each of whom can have the star factor that particular game.

To me thats a massive advantage and thats the reason why their losses are mostly self inflicted rather than opponents beating them.

 

since the other thread isn't doing so well... let's up this game instead.
