JVG really chewed some azz today at practice. Rockets definantly win this one.

1 poor performance doesnt mean this team will finish in last place. the way people's attitudes polarize based on one single game performances startles me. we had threads after the first game saying there the 4th spot was available and that we should take it, and the very next game, trades saying we should trade our entire gaurd unit and that yao is a freaking pansy and is the sole reason for us losing games...

its a sickening tip-toe back and forth.

guys just chill out. because we lost 1 game yall are going to write us off and the majority of yall have us losing to the lowly albeit talented bulls....if youre basing it on the fact that last year they were average at home, and we were a slightly below average team on the road fine, but if anyone wants to point to last game as a indication of us losing obviously has a. never watched a basketball season, through the hard times and the good (even the great teams have their nights when they are off) or b. the anti-steve, anti-yao, anti-rockets tight assed glass half empty trolls that true a rocket fan....hell, true basketball fans have grown to be oh so tired of. my ignore list has doubled in the last 2 days.

 

Rockets learn thier lesson and stayed poised for the most part of the game and pull this one out.

Both play ugly game. Finally JJ stands out for Rox with 2p leads.

 

The Bulls have some athletic big guys (Curry, Chandler, and Marshall).

If we don't solve the post problem, we'll lose again. They will be fronting Yao all night long.

I predict, win or lose, after this game there will be trade threads about getting Crawford or Rose.

 

As long as the officials don't allow Jalen Rose to hit a game winner AFTER the buzzer, I will be happy.

 

Before the Rockets traded Glen Rice, I was hoping they would package him with Cat and get rose in Houston. He would be a very good fit in Houston, but of course that was done in by getting Amechi.

 

Moochie will set the NBA record for the most consecutive turnovers in the second quarter.

Yao gets shut down by Tyson Chandler (who's on the verge of a breakout season) but Steve picks up the offense by scoring 30+ points against bulls nonexist perimeter defense. Rox defense holds bulls to 30% shooting from the floor. ROX win!

 

Gee don't bring that up...

But we got the the No.1 overall pick that year. Had we won that game we may have ended up with the 6th worst record and hence lose the lottery. So I guess it was a bless in disguise.

 

Rockets to win - come on now people, have faith! We are a much better team than what we showed last game, and we are yet to strut our best yet.
