a win is a win. you know, although the nets are apart of the eastern conference, they're not just so-so. they are pretty good. they have good fastbreaks and stuff.

cynthia cooper.. lol.. i like her and stuff, but i don't think she fits this analysis part.

i don't think he's in the doghouse...i think he's just too fat and can't get off of the bench.

He can't be. For ZRB, it is physically impossible to be happy or optimistic about the Rockets...ever.

Not really. There were a couple of times when the defender was at the side of Yao reaching across him. The entry pass was made to where Yao had to jump to the side, but he still got the ball in good position. I don't recall who passed the ball in on those particular plays though.

I literally cringe every time Boki puts the ball on the floor. He's like the human turnover out there.

    Stick to shooting bub!

I don't believe he turned the ball over, although the ice court caused him to slip a couple of times.
He's generally pretty good with ball handling.

A Rockets win is a good thing. They won by mostly playing Rudy Ball on the Offencive end not JVG Ball. They did play good JVG Defence though. The only question I ask is why does JVG let Yao Ming be deliberately excluded from the offencive play for such long periods, without a time out for redirection?

Is there a bigger big man combo than Yao-Cato? Yao is the biggest C in the league (exception Shaq). Are there any 4s bigger than Cato? Maybe TD.

Curry-Chandler were being dubbed the new age twin towers, but they were playing small compared to Yao/Cato.

ZRB, come on now. A loss against the top team of the eastern conference on the 2nd night of a road back to back only 3 games into the season with a new coach, and the season would be wasted?

I can't remember us ever just blasting a team out of the water like that since before the Francis era. I like it.

Did the Bulls guards not press hard on Francis or did he handle the pressure better?

After the Memphis loss, I said--- here we go again. Tonight I really enjoyed the game. I know it was Chicago but the Defense and Offense looked great. Keep it up Rockets!!!

Because their shots just falling. How many bad shots Cat and SF took? Tons of them, but they are just falling tonight.

60% 3pt percentage, do you think they can do it everynight. But tonight old rox ball prevailed. Wait till tomorrow to see how they play Nets.

Bulls is just a horrible team.

Right on. Bulls' coach should be fired. If I were Bulls' coach, I would press Rox's guards. Rox's guards will get into panick mode pretty quickly.

Actually... on the subject of firing Bill Cartwright... wouldn't Rudy T be the perfect fit for this team?

They've got THREE solid post-up players (Curry, Fizer, Chandler), some good ISO players in Crawford and Rose, and maybe a new team would actually LISTEN to Rudy.

Bulls suck. I am sure Scottie P. is not happy to be back....ahhh that is so nice to hear....Pip is not happy. :)

Bulls are just a really sorry team this season, 3 losses= 3 blowouts.

    Go BOKI!!!

Some of you guys crack me up. Go back and read some of your posts. Now go look at the final score. We won by 30 points. We dominated the entire game.

Eddy Curry was owned and may never mentally recover from the embarassment. Yet by reading some of your posts you'd think we lost.

Before the season is through, ZRB notwithstanding, I think performances like this will be commonplace.

We still have not seen Pike or A. Griffin or Eddie for that matter.

Boki is finding his shot, Stevie is playing smart and in control, Cato is a brute, Jim Jackson is providing veteran savvy and smart play, even Cat has played with a tad more control.

This is going to be a fun season. JVG already has this team playing the style of ball that wins in the post season.

I know the Bulls suck, but remember how bad the Rox played to inferior opponents last year. the fact that they came out and took care of business and utterly humiliated the Bulls should be something that makes every Rockets fan (pessimists and optimists) happy.

    Another thing...

the current Boki tally so far this season is Boki has 2 good games and 1 bad.

4-4 from behind the arc, 1 TO, 1 block, and a couple of assists in 22 minutes is pretty good for a guy that most of your were (and still are ) calling a bust.
I stand behind my support of Boki, just like I have since he was drafted. He will prove yall wrong before this season is over. Book it.

    Yetti...

you made a decent post in another thread tonight, and then you ruin your streak with the Yao-homer posts you make in this thread?
PLease...RudyT ball tonight? I know it looks like that to you since your boy Yao didnt get 20 shots..but they started the game going to him and opened up the outside for the guys that were(for a change) shooting well.
that is the basis of the inside out game...I admit they could have gone to him more often...but it wasnt like the other guys were ignoring him to jack up crap..they all played well tonight and we should all be happy.

one other thing to keep in mind..with a tough game against the Nets tomorrow, it is a good thing that Yao got the rest he did tonight....he didnt have to work near as hard as normal tonight and got to sit thru almost all of the 4th...

He should be ready, willing and able to take it to NJ tomorrow.
