Players get plenty of rest during timeouts and free throws...

I don't think so. He came out of the gates putting up points and playing really good defense. I think what's happening now is just a slump, simple as that. His shots not falling, so his confidence is down, in turn his defensive intensity and focus won't be there. Once his shot starts falling, at least to his average, he'll be fine. It's just happening at the worst time, when the team reallly needs his offense.

No one knows. If Harden plays Rockets win automatically. If Mirotic plays and Harden plays who wins.

    Les wanted a splash.

The money was going to be spent and was going to be spent on a select group of players.

    Alexander was angry.

I'm sure that "plenty of rest" lead to our tired legs .

Every second a player plays ( or even practices) he's at risk for injury . I just don't understand why , when the game is sealed , you keep your best guys out there . This is especially true given we can use that time to try to develop other players or at least make them feel like they are part of the ducking team .

If our players aren't hustling , they aren't setting good habits and if they are hustling in that situation it's just increasing injury risk and wear.

No good reason to not call a time out , pat your guys on the back , and sit them the **** down for some well deserved leisure time .

Who is the only man that can beat Alabama?

Jaylen Hurts.... he sucks. Cost them a title last year and now this year.

With the addition of Gerald Green, we are a Tyreke Evans, Tyson Chandler and a fully healthy team away from taking the Warriors to 7 games in the WCF, with the win going to whomever is hot that day. We couldn't make a trade using Ryno if our lives depended on it.

There are actually some things I like about mchale more than Dantoni .

Kevin may have been a punk , but Dantoni isn't one to accept blame either. Kevin also had way less talent to work with . Kevin actually tried to empower his whole roster and gave guys chances.

For all of his faults , Kevin won more games in 14-15 than Mike has with the rockets yet. He had to manage Dwight Howard's massive ego. And we got further in the playoffs than we have with Mike ( yes one season in) . Kevin was brought in to be a development coach and was gifted James and Dwight along with the expectations that came with it. He had some massive blunders and was not nearly as good of an X's and O's guy as Mike . That being said , I kinda like how he managed players better.

I still have no clue what went down the 15-16 offseason and how we started the season so poorly . Maybe fans will never know . Personally I think it was Dmo being hurt ;)

I never liked McHale's improvisational offense. Never seemed to flow. No movement and players just standing around.
Few screens/backcuts or anything. Mostly Harden ISO.

I remember being really excited watching even training camp vids with D'Antoni's offense.
Loved the movement/screens and opportunities it created. Like night and day.
Sure, our offense has been sluggish at times. But still miles ahead of KMac.

Oh for sure . Way more consistent O now ... But also better players and better fit .

I actually liked a lot of our offense when we had Lin , James , Parsons , Patteron , and Asik on the floor . 3 good ball handlers and creators led to some nice passing improvisations and pretty fast breaks ... And think James wasn't anywhere near as good as he is now and none of those other guys are near starter level .

I think a lot of the Harden ISO we remember is from 15-16 ... That was a really bad year . Some from 14-15 too . But when Lin and parsons were playing well from 12-14 our offense was OK ... It was mainly our D that let us down .

They scored 31 points and Hurts gave them the lead in the 4th. Bamas problem was they couldn't stop Deshaun Watson

I agree 100%. Nene appears to be done. Certainly can't depend on him for a gruelling post season.
