Surprisingly, the Bulls are one of the teams Tmac does well against. It goes back to his days of scoring 52 in 3 qtrs on them. And I remember, as Brokeback as he was last season, he still hit every clutch shot against them last yr at the United Center in a win. Deng cannot guard him, so he should actually have a good night. Gordon worries me, he lit up Battier last time. Mutombo is just gonna have to find away to put a body on Big Ben. Nocioni may hurt us. The Bulls use about 1000000000 screens during the course of the game, and they love to drive and kick, Rafer could really end up raping us with his play
Talk about harsh schedule... This is the 1st out of 3 back to back's for the rockets in the next 2 weeks, the last two which are only seperated by two days rest.
A heavy loss. You would have to really be on the kool aid to think anything else! That said, the boys will no doubt find a way to win. They are funny like that
Bull is a team depends on jump shoots and penetration, Ben is a good defender but horrible at the offense end, so there is less pressure on Deke. I think we have a big chance to win this game, it depends on the perfomance of our role players as I always said, only a fantastic T-Mac is not enough. Rafer must make his FG better, otherwise, bench him and ask him not to take shooting. I have a feeling that Rafer will step up and save himself. 110-106, Rox win!
The last time we palyed the bulls we blew them up by 25 and then Gordon brought his team back by scoring 40 and we ended up winning after the aledged foul on Nocioni from 3, which could have cost us the game. I think this game will be a similar one with ROX on top most of the game, and get the win with some scares at the end.
Pre-Utah, I would have a hard time believing that the Rockets could beat the Bulls without Yao. After they beat Utah, they proved they can take any team in the country with or without Yao. Rockets win big.
NBA TV is showing the game tonight... ought to be a nice duel... 90's dynasties meet in the Windy City rockets veterans prevail...
we win as long as Rafer gets benched or minutes reduced...I guess finally JVG is seeing what we see....about time....he beter not revert to playing alston 40 minutes again...he is NOT getting better....he is getting FREAKIN WORSE every game..... still rockets win 102-96
Home court is a big factor. Rockets are great at home and mediocre on the road, similar to many of the other teams with good records who aren't considered in the "elite". They have a similar home record as the Spurs, Mavericks, and Suns but those teams have very good road records as well. Those guys are currently either 11-5 or 12-5 on the road compared to the Rockets' 8-9 road record. Yes, on any given night the Rockets are still capable of beating anyone even on the road but they are less consistent away from home. This current stretch of mostly road games is quite the opposite from the initial easy games that greeted T-Mac's return.
Ordinarily, I wouldn't give the Rockets a chance in this one. But they're dominating the Leastern Conference. They have a really good record following a loss. And they played like absolute crap for most of the game yesterday and still took a red hot T-Wolves team to OT. So Yao or no Yao, the Rockets can win this one. All they have to do is take care of the ball, play defense, and make their damn free throws. Rafer shooting above 25% wouldn't hurt either.
not only that, but it is listed on INHD (HD premium package) for all you HD fans. Im not about to try to guess how this one will go, the Rockets sometiems run hot and cold on intensity, which is what killed them last night, it woudnt surprise me a bit for them to come out playing liek they did against SA or the Jazz tonight. then again, it also wouldnt surprise me if they iddnt. thats pretty much my point.
Baby-shaq will give us a lot of troubles even Mutembo is guarding the paint. So 102-92, Bulls. oh, wait, isn't Curry at NY Kicks this season?
