cute comic.. i didn't see them posted for the past few games, were they simply not made or just nobody posted them? Is there an archive where I can see all those comics?
jebus chrizzle, rafer was getting worked over by gordon....iono bout rafer, i want him to succeed but....iono tmac was incredible......
let me just say, that 3 pointer by tmac over nocioni (the dagger) was just sick. it was that move where he fakes a crossover then pulls up for a jumpshot. gotta love it
Sorry if this was already posted, but T-Mac and Mutombo are making Rockets' history!... sorta http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=2724942 • Tracy McGrady scored 31 points in the Rockets' 84-77 win in Chicago, his sixth consecutive game of at least 30 points. McGrady is only the second player in Rockets history to score 30 or more points in six straight games. Moses Malone had streaks of 13 games and six games, both in 1982. (Wow, I'm kind of surprised that Dream never did this) It was the 47th time that McGrady has scored at least 30 points since joining the Rockets. Houston is 38-9 in those 47 games. McGrady has averaged 34.3 points per game during this six-game stretch, which began on Dec. 29, the highest scoring average in the NBA since that date. • Dikembe Mutombo pulled down 16 rebounds in the Rockets' win. It was the seventh straight game in which Mutombo had at least 10 boards, the longest such streak by a Houston player since Kelvin Cato (LOL ) had a seven-game streak in 2001-02 and the longest by Mutombo since late in the 2000-01 season. Mutombo has averaged 13.6 rebounds per game during this seven-game stretch, which began on Dec. 27, the third-highest such average in the NBA over that span, behind Emeka Okafor (13.8) and Marcus Camby (13.7). • Jeff Van Gundy won only three of his first 10 games against the Bulls, thanks mostly to a player named Michael Jordan. Since 1998-99, Van Gundy is 16-4 against Chicago. He has a better record against only one NBA team over that span: (ironically he's 7-1 vs. New York).
OK- watching the replay on NBATV- Jesus, the Bulls announcers are idiots. Here are some of their brilliant comments: "You know, MuTOMbo (gee, Bill Wennington, you think you can get the pronunciation right, I mean, it's not like he's played for 16+ years) doesn't really work for his rebounds. The ball just comes right to him." (When the Rockets had a foul to give) "You know, I don't like that when they grab the player instead of going for the ball" (say what??? When they had a foul to give? Who cares what they do?) "Wow, I can't believe the Bulls would allow the Rockets a 23-point swing" (yes, against one of the worst teams in the league, right, Bill?) Oh, there was more, but it's just not worth repeating.
LOL Bill Wennington... talk about being at the right place at the right time. I know he has at least one ring with the Bulls.
after seeing the highlights..That defensive play by battier was awesome..he blocked gordon..caught it and saved it b4 going out of bounds making it our possession..that definately sealed the deal..and mcgrady finally woke up in the 2nd half scoring 25 of his 31..wat a good win against a hot team on their home court
Fantastic win by the Rox! T-Mac continues to shine and show he is still a superstar and one of the best swing players in the league. Play of the game though was Shane Battier's block. The finger wag T on Mutombo was complete bull. I agree giving him a T if he were doing it towards another player but he did it away from the play. Bill Worrell is awesome! Anyone else hear him say at the end of the game that T-Mac is going to see the doctor in Waco for some treatment; then said I am going along, I don't know what he is doing but I want some of it!
Shuld'nt there be an age limit?... that old fart muust be in he's 70's. are the Candidates to become Refs that low that there stock with him. noone beats Steve Javi for stupidity.
That one killed me... explain to me how going from 10 points down to 3 points up is a 23 pt swing???? My math says a 13 point swing.. anyone else?? After a while I was merely laughing at them. Even when we couldn't hit wide open shots they kept saying it was good defense by the Bulls. I was just glad to get to watch the game on an english speaking channel.. I can't complain too much.
