If you dont understand how turnovers are worst than miss shots, then discussing basketball with you is a waste of time. Truely the concept is not hard to understand and most kids who play basketball can tell you that. As far as Alston 0-18 streak that is indeed horrid, which is why JLIII has been getting minutes and IMO should be getting MORE minutes. Substituting ALston horrible shooting for V-spans more HORRIBLE shooting is the worst solution. I would think the choice is obvious, JLIII 46% shooting 34% from threes OR Span 31% shooting 20% from threes. Only a NUTHUGGER would choose the latter.
Look at this point, we know Alston is going to suck...why not try V-Span, just maybe he will prove to be a good player and Wally Pipp Alston into Oblivion. DD
McGrady has been getting no respect at all from the refs the past few games. Even on that drive he got hit and made the shot, but still no call. Early on in the game he was fouled at least a couple of times going inside, still no calls. But I agree, Deng has been 'hand checking' McGrady all night long...may be someone can point it out to the refs or even get a tech to get their attention.

Deng is definitely draped all over Macgrady in the post and its really disrupting the rockets attempts to get him involved.
But hand checking is illegal now...it's not an 'optional' call for the refs. If this was Wade, he would have taken at least 10 fts by now...I hate selective officiating. This isn't the mid-90's anymore, guys today just aren't used to playing with the old rules.
