Exactly, why waste energy and time b****ing about him? He's the best we got and we're sticking with him. He will improve once Yao get back...

The same that has happened with Novak's. Shooters need minutes to develop rhythm and a shot flow; to feel comfortable. You can't just throw a shooter in there for two minutes and expect him to hit 2-3 3s right away. You've got to play him in stretched, like 8 minutes here, then maybe 8 in the second half. Stiffness is in all bench players, but especially shooters since they have to hit from a much longer distance.

Van Gundy has handled his rotation atrociously as of late. I agree with his inserting Padgett and Novak for shooting, but man, don't just play them 2 minutes and take them out. Give them a chance to get a feel for the game.

You do know that V-span is shooting 31% right?? 20% from threes! Right?? That he has a horrible turnover/Assist rate right?

So if you think Alston is "turns over sooooo many times by shooting the glass out" what do you think V-span 31% shooting will be??? Breaking the glass? As far as playing V-span to determine wether we need a trade for a better point. Err it should already be OBVIOUS even to an 8year old the rockets could use a better point than Alston, JLIII & Span.

As far as choice, the obvious choice is to play Alston limited minutes depending on his production and fill in his minutes with JLIII and Luther Head, both of whom unlike Span has actually been productive on the court.

Well, even JL3 learned some pass, he is not good at defense (you can not teach size), the real answer, long termwise, is Bill----or trade, whichever one comes first... But one thing I am sure, it is not Alston or JL3.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!!!! We are 1/17 for 3pt. Thats waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy to many threes. That's as much as I would like to see in a game. I don't know whats going on cause I'm not seeing the game, but we better come out of that locker room with a gameplan that doesn't involve firing long range bombs.

Horrible, horrible game. I almost turned it off after seeing how the Rockets were playing in the 2nd quarter.

30 points in the entire first half......ROFLMAO !!!

How is Rafer doing, has he hit a shot yet?

That 4 game winning streak was fools gold, this team needs some serous offensive help.....

Padget playing over Novak, why? You know he sucks at least Novak has a chance to be decent.

    Wow...just wow.

Well, he needs to play to improve, Alston is not going anywhere, we are losing anyway----so tell me, what else do we lose at this point by replacing Alston with Bill?

V-Span has shot horribly, but his turnover/Assist ratio is about average for a 2 guard....same as Luthers, same as Bonzis etc..etc..etc...

This team looks lost out there.

Can JVG just start a new lineup to start the 3rd quarter? How about T-Mac, Howard, Novak, V-Span and Head. I will just see what this lineup can do in 6 minutes at least.

Now I miss Yao so much.
Without Yao, when the shooters feel cold, we are definitely a medioce team.
30pts in the 1st half, what a disaster!

I see you have removed your sig about how you're the president of the Rafer Alston club, and you seem to be singing a new tune these days when it comes to Rafer.

LOL! Love the "BBS' Bill the Rocket Guy" below your moniker :D

It is a great time to test our players. I'd like to see someone standup in 2nd half and win this game.

By the way, the sample size for Bill is too small (how many minutes does he got all together), if you compare his shooting with Alston's (for the last two games), I'd take Bill... And our top issue is passing, which none of Alston and JL3 can do.
