Cleveland next, who got done today by 76's. Then the Knicks after that. Time to gel the team and get some confidence back.
refs had some money on this game or they are from Chicago, absolutely no excuse for the bull **** calls and falling for flops left and right from chicago. Yes, Bulls played excellent defense down the stretch and we couldn't get anything going but if the game was officiated fairly, we would have been up 10 - 12 points late in the 4th and that offensive foul call on Harden where Jimmie bulter just fell on the floor completely changed the momentum of the game. Thanks a lot idiot refs! Why don't the rockets complain to the NBA about crap like this, you know Mark Cuban would if the mavericks got only 5 free throw attempts the entire game. And don't give say the bulls defense was so good they just didn't foul, when you play physical, there is fouls and if you call it on one end you need to call it on the other end. Those officials should be reviewed and punished for this awful job they did tonight.
in all fairness the refs were a factor tonight, but the rockets problem are much deeper than that. i think i can sum it up in three words: lack. of. focus.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>With widespread Twitter outages tonight, <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets">@HoustonRockets</a> were only able to post 7 in-game Tweets - a season and career low (via Elias).</p>— Houston Rockets (@HoustonRockets) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoustonRockets/status/552322489561665536">January 6, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
So when Harden drives on butler and butler falls down with no real contact, resulting in an offensive foul on Harden---who do I blame? The mascot? Plz stop typing BS
Robert Flores pointed out the free throw disparity, and the Houston points in the paint during our sports center highlight. Keep repping H town, Ro Flo!
we had a lot more shot attempts because they werent calling FOULS, so that still counts as an attempt. On the other end, when they were fouled and it was CALLED, that missed shot does not count as a shot attempt. there's the FG disparity.
because the starters weren't scoring. They had 100 for almost 3 straight minutes, so I'm guessing he injected our high scorer in to mix things up. Considering JSmiths night, it doesn't seem like the worst move. Unfortunately he took some bad shots towards the end, but didn't he have our most shots tonight and shoot 50%? DMO played really well too, but if you go almost 3min without scoring at the end of a game, you have to shake things up.
