Look, we can banter, and whine, and argue and debate about how McHale should be fired, or how Dmo should have stayed in, what we should or shouldn't have done the final 6 minutes, but the bottom line is this

You take two very good teams, and that's what the Rockets and Bulls are. You take two very good teams, and you are basically saying to one team, here, here's a 25 point spot. The other team, loses that game 100/100 times. Against a bad team, sure it's possible. Against a good team? Can't be done.

But sure, in a perfect world McHale should have been perfect the entire game. He shouldn't have made mistakes. But he did, just like Tom did. Only difference is Tom had a 25 point cushion to lessen his mistakes, and McHale was playing catch up.

Yes there were many factors leading to the loss. You chose to focus on the aspect that EVERY team faces and will never change. Even with the lopsided officiating we were up at the end of the game and choked. We simply didnt play well enough at the end of the game to deserve the win. That type of play deserves to be called out because its what will cost us in the playoffs.

Ariza has not played well offensively for a long time and it greatly effects the Rockets offense. Teams are giving the 3 to the Rockets 3's and 4's and trying to prevent penetration. Brewer isn't the solution because he doesn't hit 3's at a healthy clip. You saw it late tonight... Smith and DMO taking wide open 3's late because teams are sagging.

I still say if McHale liked what he saw from DMo he wouldn't have been pulled.

    Rep, my brotha

This game was soo frustrating. I really wanted this game. It's such a shame when the officiating is not fair/consistent.

The Bulls are filled with the most pathetic floppers this side of SA, TX.

I disagree with you on Brewer's 3 point shot. He has the best 3 point shot right now.

    Every team?

Every team only gets sent to the line twice?

And I call bullsh!t. If you can't understand how the game the refs were calling (or not calling) could dramatically influence the way we played then you don't understand causality.

Not everything is a "choke"... To think that posters on here can watch us play a fantastic game for 42 minutes on the road against one of the best teams in the league while being totally handicapped and think that we "choked" displays nothing more than the absurd expectations some of you have. Sometimes you just lose. But sure - "blame" whichever "chokers" you want.

McHale.... when the refs want to treat your team like a bunch of ****s, you gotta go earn a tech.

Just. Get. A. TECH!!! Show some frustrations for things out of your control!!! And maybe that control will come back!

Oh, I certainly won't disagree with that, I am not sure what McHale sees these days, he is a riddle wrapped up in an Enigma - clearly he was not paying attention to all those coaches in Boston...and should have met with Red every other day.....

I will make a 1000 dollar bet right now ZNB. If we only get 5 FT attempts in the playoffs, we won't win a single game

Right this minute he may, but for his career he has been mediocre to bad on 3's.

No point in arguing. I agree and detest the fact that the refs ****ed is in the game. I just didnt like the way we played basketball at the end. Not smart at all. From the players executing to the coaching substitutions. At the end of the day THAT is what will affect us in the playoffs. Not being hosed by the refs in a random game during the season.
