With T-Mac back, he won't play. I also like the way Chuck is playing. He is a very smart player with quick feet and his is very strong.
Same old story: valient effort by every Rockets out there, but just unable to overcome the deficit. They keep closing the gap and then fall back down by ten again. The only thing left this season is seeing if the likes of Hayes or Lucas can fill up rotation roles for next season. I really feel sorry for DW. At this age of his, he just can't handle the monster minutes we are throwing at him. He is always the hardest working man out there, but just like late last season, he's starting to show signs that his legs are caving in, only this season he's being asked to play harder earlier in the season, so he's going to run out of gas earlier this year. This team is just not the team we need to have even a distant shot at the championship. Anyways, McGrady looks like he's laboring out there, it will take some time for him to get back in game shape. Hayes looks good, we will see if he can be a consistent contributor the more minutes he gets.
Hayes is deceptively quick when he gets the ball under the basket. Very impressed with is his energy, and more importantly, his coordination/awareness.
If it means less minutes for Baxter and Bowen, I am all for it. But yes, he's playing good tonight, but that's easy to say when the guy is still desperately trying to land an NBA contract.
Yup, he's out to prove himself no doubt. But guys like that never take the NBA for granted. That shot hayes hit to make it 88-86, had me jumping out of my chair. A very fluid shot he made. nice touch on it.
Where are the JHo doubters now? The guy can still freakin' score. It's not a fluke, ladies and gentlemen, the guy has been a scoring machine since Yao went down.
Vote Chuck Hayes on your allstar ballot! My allstars are.. mcgrady.. luther head.. yao... hayes.. and j. howard.
