Never did like Jason Terry, even when he was on our team. Good job by the Rockets for handling such a weird game. I too thought having Clint out there would have shut down most of their offense ... But oh well. Also was super concerned like 3 times for the hits cp3 took :/
The team is the MVP so far even when there has been a injury someone else has stepped up they're game.
James is averaging 25, 6, 8 and 4 over the last 5 games, that's nuts!! I appreciate the effort he's putting in on the defensive end, especially when it gets harder to score. The Bucks wanted to steal a win from a tired Rockets team, but not today! THE STREAK IS ALIVE!
I think teams are going to start doubling Harden off of picknrolls, it's kinda worrying how much it disrupted his rhythm. He usually gets the pass off to Capela who can't really do much at the three point line, the play goes back to either CP3 and Harden with 8 seconds left on the shot clock and it's a bad shot. They need to run some plays off double teams
Yeah, but he settles too much on that dribble, dribble, step back 3 he reverts back to. Then his lazy defense, when he sagged way too much in the lane, when there were other help defenders that are in way better position. Middleton wide open trey.
Yeah I expect D'Antoni to have some creative wrinkles from when teams trap Harden like that. It's kind of raw right now, and since it's a new thing that is starting to happen consistently as teams get more desperate to win for the playoffs down the stretch. Glad the coaching staff will be able to get ahead of this inevitable strategy now.
Gritty win, really amazing run. The old Rockets lost this game 99% of the time. These aren't the old Rockets.
I remember watching early in the second quarter the bucks owner was talkin big stuff about stopping the streak
the counter for that is the lob to the roller. team have tried that. thats nothing new. capela and tucker do a good job on making the read. usually its a kick out when they get deep in the paint
I agree Harden gets lazy when he thinks the game is over, but he had too many clutch defensive plays for me to care right now.
