He's missed the majority of his contested layups and dunks when he's posted someone up. The reason his FG% is high is because he's had open dunks over short guys. I honestly wish we had a tall and strong power forward, because Giannis wouldn't be able to do what he's doing.
Problem with Giannis is even if you back off him and it's someone like Tucker at the rim instead of Capella, Gainnis can gain momentum driving to the basket when no one is guarding him and no way Tucker stops a driving Giannis free run to the rim. He'll either dunk on him or spin around him .
I dont know. I see gravity on offense he brings on the drives. I see fear and nervousness when he helps on defense. Its hard to see on tv but i can only imagine how odd his size must be on the court cause everybody not named CP ***** in his pants when he comes defending
I hope Rockets are talking about being more focused in the 2nd half. Slow down just a little be more deliberate on offense. Box out and find open shooters.
You just bring help and make him pass. Not that difficult. And in the 4th, you can foul him too. He's going to get a heavy does of that in the playoffs. They will be like the Live by the 3, Die by the 3 Rockets prior to Paul, but with a spinning Big man trying to pass like Harden, with no oop threat. Only reason they are in the lead is because of our bone-headed TOs on inbounds and outlets.
The Bucks are the perfect team to play the Rockets. The Rockets are regularly careless with outlet passes, inbound passes, etc. and they struggle against any pressure on inbounds. The Bucks are basically abusing those issues.
